Please share with the listeners the difference between your father's allergy to Scallops and your allergy to alcohol, pills, cocaine, etc...? They need to know why your dad can stop on his own from eating shellfish anymore but why alcoholics and drug addicts can't stop and continue the insanity. Thanks...

Thank you bro this spoke to me perfectly. I am absolutely enchanted by this vicious cycle. I've been in 5 rehabs in 2 years and I still go back to using. Absolute insanity.

I agree. It's usually people who don't really believe that they're powerless or that the substance causes problems in their life.

Absolutely. Honesty is the basis of the entire program. If you can't get honest, it won't work.
