Great unboxing! I'm waiting for mine to arrive. I chose it over Lilmon 5, due to the battery compatibility - Same features for lower price and as a Canon shooter I have loads of LP-EN batteries (Lilmon 5 does not support LP-EN). Also, the joystick is more practical than touchscreen (avoids fingerprints on the screen)

Is there a reason why you used a conversion lut in the first node rather than just using the source convert from dehancer itself?

Are you shooting in SLog2/SGamut3 or the standard PP7 SLog2/SGamut2? The highlights turn out so beautifully with the Phantom LUTs. I’m stoked to go shoot with my a6400 more now because I really love that camera and your footage is showing me I have yet to enjoy its full potential. Your images look superb.

Hi Daren. I am so relieved to see that someone managed to use these LUTs with the A6400. I have two of these along with an FX30 for multi-cam shoots. Your great results give me hope! Can I ask which set you bought please? The Phantom website sells different sets for 'legacy' cameras (presumably A6400 and friends) and cameras like the FX3/FX30. I really hope I don't have to buy them twice 🙁
OK. I actually got a reply on this from Joel Famularo the Phantom himself, which is extremely kind of him. I post part of it here just in case it helps someone. He recommended buying both packs, but also said: "...bear in mind I haven't made LUTs EXACTLY for either camera - namely the A6400s or the Fx30 sensors. I recommend the closest cameras for both, so the Fs7 Legacy LUTs for the A6400s and the Fx6 LUTs for the Fx30 so the match won't be as immaculate as if you were matching an Fx6 and Fs7, but it will definitely make your life easier and should save you time. But don't be surprised if you need to do a bit of extra work tweaking the results post-LUT".

did you shoot in 1080p or 4k cause i get a lot of rolling shutter, and when i shoot in 1080p i find it not as sharp. Any tips?
Hey! Thanks so much for watching and commenting. For this I did shoot in 4k however when it comes to rolling shutter there isnt much you can do on a mirrorless camera. I just try my best to not do so much whipping when moving the camera. It also helps to shoot at a wider focal length as it becomes less apparent. Hope that helps!

Hey bro! Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and comment. I cant exactly give you exact settings because every scenario is different. However, I found that having the meter fall around +1.3 gets me the best exposure. Use my code DVALDEZ, and get a discount to try dehancer out for yourself!

Should i get the zv-e10 or a6400 for mainly video? (I love doing film emulations)
Honestly, since both are great cameras, you can't go wrong with either one, if you ever decide you want to dabble into photography it will be advantageous for you to have a view finder. Only in that case would I recommend the A6400 over the zv-e10. Thanks for watching!

No stabilization was added at all haha. I shot the entire thing at a pretty wide focal length, so that helps to hide some of the shakiness. In terms of my rig, I jsut had a small rig cage on my a6400 and a top handle... pretty much handheld. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
hey daren which lens would you recommend for fx30,i'm looking at sigma 18-50 and 16mm,which one would you recommend? I use canon 24-70 lens with my fx30 but they are the older version their focus is kinda soft. Waiting for new videos from you!
Hey! Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and comment on my videos! I wish I had more experience with canon lenses so I could give you a more informed opinion. However, I feel like the sigma 18-50 will give you better quality since you'll be using an fx30. Otherwise maybe the Sigma 24-70 is another good option since it covers a good range of focal length. Wonderful shots my favorite was the one at 0:50 with blue hour setting in. Dehancer makes for some great film emulations. Btw I make short films as well, I’ve just filmed one about a young painter in Sweden, I’d greatly appreciate it if you checked it out Daren, thank you! :)
