Just looking at dirt bike clips. How may I contact you?
Geat spot. I too have a 690 and it just loves Menai.
this was my local years ago, moved from the area and have been meaning to head back. One thing about this area is its pretty big, I know the fence line area but the rest of it looks foreign to me. I usually rode the barden side but used to 4x4 with a mate on the heathcoat side.
@@WholesaleTurbos I tried the Barden side but found it hard to navigate, didn't know where to go.
@@FeelsOnWheels-td2cn I think every new area starts out like that. Its mostly ST, it either loops out to the main trail or to another trail, eventually you will recognize a place. Im going to try and get out there in the next week or 2, ill msg you my number
Dickheads. I'm glad you got it back. I definitely would have put it in the room. 😮
Wow! You're an animal magnet! 😅 Great vid. Thanks for sharing.
Haha seems that way. Thanks for watching
I enjoyed the vids. As a former cessnock lad…. Never leave your bikes without double disc brake locks. Also, you’re lucky the thief was dumb. Would’ve taken 7 seconds to cut through the padlock instead of that wire. One last thing, “kongawhy” road… it’s pronounced “cun-jee-way”. I would love to go back and ride there. I almost got cleaned up by a log truck going to broke over those mountains.
Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for letting me know about the pronunciation... Yeh luck for us thief was not great - definitely will bring disc locks in future
I grew up in Maitland - all I can say is "Yep, Cessnock - only 26km, but a world away?" :-)
Had no idea, would have stayed somewhere else
Great informative video. How did you get off Beavens Ridge Rd? I can't see a way down. Which road does it intersect with on the south side? Thanks.
Just stay on it you will get to brush creek Rd.
Dahm close call 😂
@@MelindaClark-v8d Haha tell me about it. I was bracing for impact!
Crackheads everywhere in Cessnock. Try to stay at a pub where you can lock your bike up at night. The Roundabout at Gloucester and Bendemeer pub both do that. Plenty of others would too. Just ring and ask first.
@@johnhawke3131 thanks for the tip, will do that next time for sure
Mate I heard reports of the land owner is calling private property at the end of commission Rd. Any indication of that on your ride. Heading that way on the weekend
@@RIDEjustride well there were National Park signs on the road for Wollemi State Conservation Area.....
The motels, pubs etc in Cessnock are a well known target for local dropkicks and bike theft, stay out of the town if possible or at least have sound alarmed disc brake locks and cables. All motels etc should be security gated, no exception.
@@glennmorrissey2529 yep will be investing in an alarmed disc lock. Gotta At least make it a bit harder
Hey that's an awesome ride through there. Really nice video as well - enjoyed watching it. I'm on a DR650 and would love to do that but generally ride on my own so need to figure out the route so I don't get lost. I'm in Penrith and have often thought about riding up through St Albans to Buckety, and then through the bush back to the Putty and down the putty to home in a big loop. Would be an awesome day ride I reckon. Is it hard to find your way through to the Putty with the sign posts and stuff??? If you don't mind me asking what app are you using there on your phone? I generally get everywhere (and quite lost) with google maps so probs need something else.
@@returnrider4952 From Penrith you can try wheelbarrow ridge road to get to wiseman's then St Albans and Bucketty. Thats a good starter route. Not hard to navigate to putty, I pre-planned the route in an app called OsmAnd. You definitely need an app like this that does offline maps. Trying to use Goggle maps is a recipe for confusion as it tries to be smart with the routing and does things you don't expect.
Mate, it's easy to find your way if you plot it out first. I use Gaia. After you plot your route you have to click a couple of boxes to download it for use off line. Finchley then Howes trail will get you through.
They are certainly great tracks to ride. It's a shame these low-life scumbags seem to be lurking in the shadows more and more these days. That would've been quite a distressing discovery to see your bike gone only saved by the fact it was so quickly recovered - definitely a 'sliding doors' moment. Looking forward to part 2.
@@plan_b_adv imagine trying to sleep afterwards!
Bike theft is huge in. the hunter valley around Cessnock / Maitland / Singleton areas unfortunately.
Yeh it really sux. We really needed more than a couple of cable locks.
@@FeelsOnWheels-td2cn So did they cut the cable or something else??? I have an Fe500 and usually use a cable like you with the padlock through the sprocket also.
@@timsbike4887 yeh they cut the cable
It will be getting around sin city 100%
damn bro my first bike a honda xr150l was just stolen two months ago. it sucks so hard man
Is that mill creek
Love the content mate, where do you got riding? I recently got a crf450x and want to start riding some trails, I'm new to enduro though
I'm new too, this is near Menai

GPS uploads would be good, plus great to watch this clip.
Thanks mate
That’s actually pretty deep
Looked solid when riding into it
Fairplay mate some of those rock sections looked quite techy
Thanks man still really new to it, so was struggling a bit
@@FeelsOnWheels-td2cn im the same struggle everytime haha
Bro thats very risky to risk a expensive bike 😬
