My in-laws took my wife and I down to Vacation Village at Williamsburg for my birthday, for a 3 day weekend. The first evening there, 10/25/2024, we went to the indoor pool/hot tub for about 45 minutes. It was fun and relaxing. The entire area was well kept, nicely appointed and quite enjoyable. Towels were available for everyone, as were tables and chairs. The next evening, Saturday 10/26/2024 was quite a different story. We went there shortly after 6 pm and as soon as we pulled up into the parking lot area, we heard exceptionally loud rap music. Please understand that we were in a car, the windows were rolled up all the way and we had not yet parked in a parking space. We got out and it became immediately obvious that the extremely loud music was emanating from the indoor pool/hot tub area. We opened the door, went in and saw 4 or 5 b**** youths, probably in their late teens or early twenties, in the pool and/or around a large “boom box” located between the pool and the hot tub. Some of them were in the pool and others were dancing in a very sexual manner and one of the males had his bathing suit very close to a female’s mouth. My father in law asked them to turn down the music, which they did briefly, before turning it back up. I was disgusted and went to the office/reception area to complain. I walked in the main door and turned to my left and went to the first person there. The middle aged woman asked if she could help me. I requested to speak to the manager in charge. She asked me to explain why. I said there was a big problem with unacceptably loud music in the indoor pool area, ruining the atmosphere for everyone else. She said I would need to turn around and ask one of the people behind me to speak to the manager, because his desk was down the hallway behind them. I did so and walked up to the first person there, the first person on the right as you enter the office/reception area. She was a b**** female with small braids. I noticed right away that she was looking at me in a strange way. It was not friendly at all. I greeted her politely. She did ask if she could help me and I asked to speak to the manager on duty. She smirked and said that the manager was on break. I asked when the manager would be back and she looked away briefly before looking back and saying it would be about a half hour. I asked if there was an assistant manager I could speak with. She smirked again and said no one could help me. By now, I was beginning to understand what was happening. I said thanks for all your help and she said with a sneer to not mention it. I left. About 20 feet outside the door, I turned around and went back inside and I asked her for her name. Her hand was already over her name-tag and she refused to tell me her name. I said something like “I guess you are not going to help me with anything tonight”. She sneered at me again, saying “Hope you have a great night”, in a nasty voice. I refused to go back into the pool/hot tub area. My 90 year old mother-in-law had meanwhile asked the twerking b**** kids to turn the music down, but they laughed at her and mockingly offered to play some Frank Sinatra music. My advice to all people is avoid this place. Seems like low class people are allowed to take over here and do whatever they want.

Looking into buying at VV Williamsburg via resale (4bdr unit). Do you know if all of the units are updated like the one you stayed in? I saw other videos with more dated furniture so I'm curious if I need to request a specific building (or unit A vs B) when we stay.
