I am 80 years old veteran Australia children lined the roads when our queen then a princess came to Australia on a comenweth visit the year 1953 here father passed away our king In later years I went in to the First kings Reg Now the Queens son and kings Grand son is our King.that makes me a proud man God bless our Royal Family 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I'm proud to say. In 1970, during the Maori Welcome to Queen, about 3,000 of us, each tribe represented, she stopped and spoke to me, and said, do you all come from Wellington, I was in shock and said yes. Charles stopped too and said, "how often did we come together for practice. I said we practice for about 3 weeks (Maori Action Songs). Pity no mobile phones then. When the coffin is being lowered into the vault and King Charles is trying hard to be dignified and he bites his lip, such a sad moment. Also, to see our beloved Queen totally alone at her husband's funeral, heartbreaking.

Ooh the nustalgia. I was working during the announcement and my TV was on for life hours until she were safe delivered in Backingham. 😢

When i heard the news i was on my way to scotland with a load. Heard the news and cried all the way up. Big trucker crying. She wasn't just our Queen. She was the world's Queen.. she made a vow to this country and seen it out. One of the worst days of my life. Still brings me to tears losing my Queen. Rip my queen

Broke my heart. Not only because my Boss died but also, because of her family. I've lost Grandparents, Parents and guys I've served with. Nothing ever is good about losing a loved one. Her Majesty is still loved. God save the King, to whom I now owe allegiance.
