2370 MAN SG280H along Cove Rd
มุมมอง 4.4K4 ปีที่แล้ว
Preserved historic bus 2370 travels along Cove Rd in Hallet Cove South Australia, which is part of the N4 train substitute route. The SG280H is an interesting articulated bus design as the engine and transmission are in the trailer section of the bus, but drive the centre wheels via a long drive shaft with universal joints through the turntable. Engine: MAN D2566MTUH, 280 hp, 1100Nm torque Tran...
A quick tour of Hino BX341E 1286
มุมมอง 3.4K7 ปีที่แล้ว
1286 is a preserved 1987 Hino BX341E with PMC Adelaide bodywork. It has a 6443cc 170hp Hino EH700 engine and Allison AT545 4 speed auto transmission. 7.4t empty 13t laden
Nice sounds! What do you use to record? Thanks for the content.
Piękne kickdown'y! Bardzo szybko się zbiera ten autobus :D
Good to see some keeping the old girls going and in good condition, I drove an early 80's International PMC for many, many years. Loud, slow, smoky but always gave more smiles per KM than anything made after it.
Excellent Also is this bus different to the AK176K
Only the dashboard is different. Engine, transmission and chassis are largely the same
Empty bus that is impressive 4:47
I miss those SG280H articulated buses so much
I like the part where comments arent turned off. Wish I had the chance to drive these while SouthLink still had the contract for the North and south
All fixed! :)
Brilliant performance for this bus to tackle at high speed around 109kph on the M1 South Eastern Freeway to Mount Barker
3359 is actually one of the slower 14.5s too! Still a perfectly capable bus though, and governed at 100kmh.
Bridgewater T840/T842/840X/842X to Mount Barker Similar interior to the Wentward DT40L in BeamNG
Sounds almost like a Bomber Volvo B58/B10m
These have the same basic ratios and planetary gearset inside the ZF Ecomat transmission as the much earlier Volvos, just with fully electronic control and able to cope with the much higher torque the L94 14.5s put out.
@@hd8437 Roger that and thank you!!!
I love hino ak sound.in our Bangladesh we have hino ak1j
Different Engine though in Bangladesh they used JO8C NA.
@@alpzepta we used ak series.which has no turbo charged
Look like American school bus except they never used Hino. EH700 Engine made so much better sound than a Cummins 5.9.
Probably about half as much power but I love the sound also. Caught one occasionally for swimming, when the newer A/C buses were unavailable.
@@jetstream454 it’s the same engine as the Hino AK176 Bus from Bangkok. I used to ride them a lot so I like them.
Amazing bus!!!!
Rattle rattle
You might enjoy this, Daniel. Only L94UA in WA th-cam.com/video/m0o1VWwMVgo/w-d-xo.html
Ooooofffff me likey
I miss her :(
Magic!! Would love to hear a video of a Voith one done in the same manner
Sounds awesome.
The take off at 1:55 is best ;)
Brilliant video! What year was this bus manufactured? :D
1987 :)
Fantastic :) Never thought I'd feel nostalgic about a bus but here I am, caught one of these buses to school for years. The sound of that big diesel engine is embedded in my memory. I remember our bus driver having some trouble with the door too!
