Great video
thank you -- are the licenses & certificates maintained when upgrading from 2.6 to 3.0 ?
Brillian and simple to follow CLI upgrade. I have been looking for a video like this for ages.
I have traditional licenses that will not expired, are permanent. Can i upgrade from 2.7 to 3.1 without converting them to smart licenses?
good video
Thanks so much for taking the time to make and share this
Without URT upgrade you can not jump from 2.7 to 3.0 ? right
Sorry for late.... Cisco recommended for run URT first before the upgrade.
Hi, Do you have the iso V12.5. Can you shared me?? Thank you.
What about smart license, do we need to update it before upgrade or we need to disable on-prem server during the upgrade?
We can skip this. If we have Smart licenses it would be recommended.
thanks mate - you save my day :)
How long does it take to upgrade please?
You can run urtbundle to verify how much time your device will take.
I tested in production it around 3 hrs
Thanks you for this video!!!
Thanks a lot but I have log issue. I cannot see the log
Thanks very much for this video!
Wow that nice vdo 🤩🤩🤩
a year ago :D
There is so much more to just running the upgrade command in a production environment. You got to make sure all your phone's are on the correct firmware which is compatible with the version that 12.5 will upgrade them to, deprecated phones, cop files etc. I'm not even touching the surface here. Either way, appreciate the video. I'm just mentioning it. 👍 www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/upgrade/11_5_1/cucm_b_upgrade-guide-cucm-115/cucm_b_upgrade-guide-cucm-115_chapter_010001.html
Dear can you please share setup file for Cucm11.5 and 12.5 Also can you please tell if I update call manager version 11.5 to 12.5 all associated other server like CUC, IM & presence , express e&c will upgrade automatically? Or do we need to perform similar on each server can you please advise
They are all separate servers dude and are all updated individually.
Oy your video is not complite to end i still waiting what next step
yes, but the important steps are there already... I can confirm, it is working well.
Any needed help brother?
@@entertainandknowleage1711 bro after successful upgrade the servers do we need to upgrade the phone firmware manually or can we do the phone upgrade before server version upgrade in order to avoid downtime can you please advise the best practice
@@faris928 Your phones firmware will automatically upgrade to a default version that's built into the iso. If you're not having firmware issues prior to upgrading, I suggest keeping the existing firmware version by going into device defaults and reverting to the original version.
:) :) :)
OMG wow
