Hey Phil, it's been a while. I've personally invested about 17k on courses and software over the past 5 months. The return I got was around $2k. Something you hit is paying to work hard. You gain the knowledge, but at the end of the day you still have to bust your ass. Honestly this is what I've noticed too. I am going back to a job where I can make 10k/month off of a salary and probably do half the amount of work that it would take to make 10k/month off of a business. It was a good dream but I don't think entrepreneurship is for me. Best of luck to you.
Thanks Phil! I’m glad you’re doing this. I’m building something using AI as well.
Is the face part a necessity? An online brand isn't something I think is needed. Nothing to you but I pose the question

brother i have been stuck for ages, so my problem is I was giving gemini wrong info...i ddnt copy all the error so I will try your strategy and see if I succeed. Thank you by the way.
@@thabisomatsaung2664 hope this helps, if anything once you solve the problem another problem will come. Honestly no code is hard, but a test of your will not to give up Keep on going 💪
I think these llms will struggle with context and bigger projects for a little while longer. Connecting one service to another without implementing unnecessary code or bugs seems to be a big problem still. I have a cs degree and enjoy coding. But recently I have been playing around with cursor and gpt 4o preview along with other ai assistance and have noticed a tremendous speed increase in my dev process. It’s really fun to implement an entirely new service in one day like an imbedded chat application inside of your app. However, it seems that when going at a speedy pace by accepting all of cursors suggestions you end up implementing code that you no longer understand. Then when trying to fix a few small bugs the llm panics because now the context of your app is much larger and doesn’t know how to fix your problem(and neither do I because I have just implemented hundreds of lines of code with a few clicks). I do still think practicing coding best practices without ai alongside learning how to prompt is going to help in the long term. Yes ai will get better, but ultimately context will be an issue for some years to come.
Appreciate the comment For someone who has no background in coding, using SOPs as markdown files for step by step instructions seem to help the infracture slightly especially in the case of not making the llm do everything automatically Have you tried?
@@buildbestwithphil no I have not. I’ll have to take a look. Funny enough, I’m just getting into this whole prompting thing with cursor. I have seen a few videos where people are linking official library documentation in a file then the llm utilizes that when doing its reasoning. Haven’t given it a go yet, but I will let you know how that goes.
Interesting take… I agree 100%, with continuous content with this type of “ intriguing” message, im confident in your 6 month goal.. that is if you take your own advise… for example knowing your market is only one step in attracting your customers.. clearly you struggle with professionalism in some regards… ie: setting, image, confidence, finances. I’m curious how far you have come in you actual career.. seems like your just starting to take like seriously to me. But where you lack, you also shine in ways that I personally don’t, ie: direction, word flow, statistics. I’d be interested in sharing my thoughts on this more if you were willing to share yours 😁 great vid!
@@aidenreef8024 thanks for the feedback most things are still a work in progress. Building in public is a niche that I’ve been adopting where the audience actually sees the journey from the start. Ahh thanks for the feedback, must’ve been a audio system issue Next time I’ll have it sorted
Just subbed at 1:45 AM because I think you have potential with the type of content you produce. I will say that even though the content itself is interesting and important, you really should get a nice and clear camera if you are going to have your face in your videos, and along with that you should have a nice little set up with nice lighting to make you and your content look serious, professional, and reputable, (most important part of my whole comment) also if you have your face in the video like this video make the facecam area on the screen a square that is like 2x to 3x the size of your current circle facecam. Instead of making one or two videos you should spend the time it takes to make those videos to upgrade your production quality, camera, mic, and flow of your videos. Also purposeful editing goes a long way to keeping people investing and watching your videos longer so that there are less times in your videos where you just say "umm" or there is a pause for a few seconds because that actually causes some TikTok brained people to click off immediately. I am by no means a TH-camr or content creator, but those are just some tips based on observations from large and successful channels.
@@gorillaeggs8199 thanks brother, you didn’t have to do that but I’m so glad you did Currently on a budget but as I continue to grow I will definitely invest more into tools and hardware So glad you had the energy to comment at 2am Best Phil
