those tiger platys here in the states we call them mickey mouse platys lol
These ones would technically be a "Tiger Mickey Mouse" Platy for us too! They don't always come in with the mickey mouse markings, sometimes they are just striped - these ones are such a cool mix of both! :) Thanks for watching!

Hi there! Our smaller sized Africans are generally sold unsexed - however the packing team will always try their best to accommodate your preferences, which you can add in to the order notes. We do often however have medium/large Africans & these will often be sold sexed & listed on the website as "Large Male Assorted African Cichlids" or similar.

Absolute Appalling Customer Service - Do NOT give any business to Aquarium Central. Do not purchase from or have anything to do with Aquarium Central. It has been by far absolutely the worst customer experience I have ever encountered. I placed a reasonably large fish order, one fish arrived very ill in the bag, I removed it, acclimated it, and placed it in the tank as quickly as I could to try to give it the best change of survival. I contacted Aquarium Central straight away by email and was told to "follow the instructions on the box". The instructions stating to take a picture of the DOA fish in the bag. This being my first order with Aquarium Central I was unaware of their "instructions" taped to the top of the styrofoam box, which is easily overlooked or could be taken as a packing note related to the delivery service. Regardless, the fish was not DOA in the bag, it was very unwell and hence I removed it from the bag and got it into the tank to keep an eye on it. It died very shortly after. I contacted Aquarium Central again by email, explaining what had happened, they simply didn't even bother responding. I sent a followup email to and was responded to with sarcasm in a one line email, by someone who didn't even put their name to their email, "Have you provided the information outlined in the instructions that say "READ BEFORE OPENING". You can imagine I was very unimpressed. I replied explaining the "instructions" taped to the top of the box are very easy to overlook. Had the person bothered to read my previous email, before responding in sarcasm, they would have seen the fish was not DOA in the bag anyway, it died shortly after in the tank. I also explained how atrocious the customer service I am receiving it, however it's very very apparent Aquarium Central simply don't care. I received a further response email stating "If you can't follow any of the instructions provided we can't help you", again from Mr/Mrs anonymous. I can honestly say this is the most appalling customer service I have ever experienced. How on earth does any business owner believe this is a way to treat paying customers!!
