Got my physical test on the 22nd …piece of cake
That’s long I’m currently doing 12 weeks 😂
What’s the pay ,& how long till top pay ?
Please tell me the men employed are really working. I had an uncle who was lieutenant and he had to cover his name.
Safety school
Praying Praying working
❤❤❤🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️❤️❤️god bless you police 🚨🚨🚨
They aren't residents they're convicts!
The residents? Yes they're human beings- I'm not denying them their humanities- but they're convicted criminals, they're called inmates lol
Florida is 12 weeks
Hello! please tell me which program I should choose for training in order to pass the exam and get into the correction academy, and then work in prison???
i can't wait to be a correctional officer when i graduate
5 and a half weeks seems fine for a CO but I didn’t even know the people in the police academy until week 5 lol I got to know them after a very long 18 and some change week police academy
How hard is the agily test, academy, medical and psychological exam?
5 and a half weeks? try 3 very long months in florida
What about Florida?
12 weeks in IL for county. IDOC is about 10 weeks
6months of training on guam
How to join for Corrections officer? Im a Filipino. Thanks
Idk go ask the Philippines government
I believe Mc Donald’s workers go thorough longer training.
Wtf? Not sure what you’re talking about, basic training for McDonald’s employees takes no longer than 3 days according to their official website
How can I train better for the academy? Half way through the process want all advice I can get
Girlll, you and me both.. I still can't do sit ups 😫
Good luck I'm going in for state corrections
run, run and run lol
Don’t do it. 85% law enforcement suicidal deaths are from corrections. It mentally drains you, 18hr shifts. If your doing it just for the money it ain’t for you
Any update??
I'm definitely thinking about taking this as a career.
I’m starting my physical test In April. Do it man. It’s a great career and the money is definitely there to be made
@@taymoula563 I'm leaning towards going to Georgia and going to the Academy out there
@@taymoula563same
@@taymoula563it is not a great career 🤦🏽♂️😂 85% of law enforcement suicidal deaths are from corrections. It mentally drains you, get use to working 18hrs.
not saying it’s a bad career but you’ll definitely get stressed out with coworkers & inmates, I worked at willacy county for 3 years then transferred to tdcj thinking it would be more structured & cos would take rank seriously…that wasn’t the case at all lol, Half of the time i worked with lazy officers who wouldn’t do nothing but sit in the picket all day & sleep…so i called it quits & decided to join the military instead
Cool
They are like Auschwitz'guards now
"There is hope, there is opportunity and it is absolutely worth it in the long run."
how do I make a difference in my community? do I get a gun before I sign up, after, or do I just need to lick someone's boots?
I eat beans and shit blood all before 9am! What have you done with your life??
I wanna train the next generation of crossing guards! I want to train the next generation of bootlickers who couldn't spell "demilitarization" if you held a donut in front of them on a stick!
which career path do I get to shoot dogs?
😂
This video is bs

Prospective SOG Operators have 1 or more years of experience as a Correctional Officer (prior experience outside of the MDOC and military experience can also be considered), are able to pass the MCJA Physical Fitness standard, can complete 85% bench and 85% front squat, complete an "indoc" involving some stress inoculation and testing, oral interviews with team leadership, a 2-week basic certification course followed by 1 week of firearms training and then "routine" ongoing (in-service) training for all members of the team after successful completion of the first components. Message us on facebook at facebook.com/maine.gov.corrections if you'd like to be connected with a current SOG member to learn more.
Is there any specific requirements for the SOG team?
