We are dealers and enthusiasts of classic cars, motorbikes and automobilia. Watch our videos as we showcase classic and unusual cars from all eras of motoring. We take you around our private museum filled to the brim with automobilia and other garage collectables and we also like to show off the odd motorbike or moped!
We try to provide as many classic car walk around videos as we can so you can really get a good feel of some of the cars we have at Hardy Classics. We also like to go one further, when we have the time and weather, to take you along on a virtual test drive of the vehicles.
We also like to showcase peoples private collection of automobilia so you can see behind the scenes of what real petrolheads have hidden in their garage - so keep an eye our for the Undercover Collectors series.
Watch us and follow our journey as classic car dealers.

Today we're taking our Ford Thames truck out for a test drive.
This is a great little truck which has been used in many famous films and TV programmes over the years. It's a multi-purpose van which has a canvas tilt body, it also can become a refuse truck and even comes with a working Harvey Frost crane.

We're back with some more classic car questions today and today we're in one of my showrooms asking questions about automobilia! Some of the questions we go through is how I got into collecting automobilia, which classic commercial van I like the best, which car museums I like, what is the most unusual piece of automobilia I have in this garage and what the downfalls of collecting automobilia a...

We've been down to Beaulieu - I haven't done much filming whilst I was down there. But what we have done is bought something interesting which is in the van. It's so rare and unusual that even I don't know what it is! Stayed tuned to find out more about it... In other news we also purchased a VW Exhibiton Unit which we are going to convert into a camper van...well sort of? If you like this vide...

We take the bubble car out for a little test drive - crazy to see just how small it looks against a modern day car! We take a little look around some of the cars in the showroom, especially on the Peugeot 304 Van and the Morris. Came in to my showroom garage on Sunday morning and noticed that some of the panelled ceiling had come down! Managed to get a couple of our joiners in and managed to ge...

Is this the Best MGTD?
มุมมอง 5062 หลายเดือนก่อน
This MG TD was first registered in January 1952, it has a 1467cc engine and had a total rebuild from the chassis up in 2003. Since the rebuild it has been in storage for some of the time. The paintwork, chassis and chrome work is in excellent condition and it drives well. It comes with full weather gear and recent work has included new plugs and leads. It’s a gorgeous car in black paintwork wit...
Reunited With His Classic Car
มุมมอง 9372 หลายเดือนก่อน
Today in classic car life we're showing you the story of a man reunited with his beloved classic car, a 1929 Morris Saloon, nearly 20 years after selling it! Seeing his face as he drove it away made it more than worth doing the trip to Wales to drop it off. In the showroom we pull out a 1926 Swift Tourer, a fantastic pre-war car. I go through the starting procedure of the car and just listen to...
Austin 7 C Cab
มุมมอง 6922 หลายเดือนก่อน
Here we have another fantastic running and driving little van. It's believed to have been restored/rebuilt between 2005-2008 where an extensive rebuild took place with body and engine work and a rebuilt crankshaft valve, so we believe. This charming little van is finished in gleaming green and black paintwork and would make a fantastic show piece or advertising tool.

That's brave, to take such a lovely Vauxhall into the vagaries of our inclement weather!
Love that ,just imaginge driving that around Cornwall ,with Nancy Whiskeys Frieght train coming form the wireless ,heaven .
Yes... not a fan of white wall tyres on British marques.. Also in this case, why gild the lily...? Stunning vehicle.
i like all old British cars 👌👌🇬🇧🇬🇧🚗🚗
Didn't that float try and blow up David Niven's James Bond in 'Casino Royale' in 1967???
I think I had a Corgi toy of this model.
That would be even better with a Holden 186 motor & 4 speed. Yes, I'm Australian.
What is the model number
i want to make a joke that includes earnie and trigger, but damn, you got me singing it in my head instead - anyhow great to see old vehicles like this that i remember from when i was a kid. GL
@@Bob-ts2tu What, no reference to Benny Hill, it would be a great tribute to Benny.
@@deanmanly7622 errrrr, Earnie was benny hill m8, and trigger pulled the fastest milk float in the west, but i suppose u have to be a certain age to know that haha. GL
@@Bob-ts2tu yep at 57, I'm an Aussie, I used to watch Benny Hill, Dick Emery & On the busses.
@Bob-ts2tu You made me laugh when I read this.
Surprised it lasted the were were made of crap steel rust buckets or maybe some got the right stuff 😊
Loved mine as an 18 year old. The sense of freedom was priceless.
i repaired those along with e83w's at Reginald Tyldesley LTD Walsall WMids
Beautiful vehicle 💪
The school ones weren't half pint but a third of a pint and they were awful, especially if they had been sat out in the sun half the morning. Fabulous vehicle, I had a Workabus.
I wanted an MGTC, but they are just to expensive, so I bought a cherry mint Honda Shadow Spirit motorcycle instead for 1/20th the price and got my spoked wheel fix on. A lot faster and more reliable than an MG for sure. Believe me, it's got way more chrome on it than I want to polish... Young people just can not afford to blow $40K on an old hard to find car with hard to find parts that runs and sounds and shifts like a tractor.
Thanks for the video on the rover. It gets me more excited. I am in the process of buying a 1947 p 2 14 sport from canada and bringing it back to washington state u s a.
I'm so glad you liked the video!
Great content Sir. Our local greengrocer had a home delivery Dormobile van and a converted Morris 8. The 8 brought round the local bakers produce and milk. The fifties had some things that worked ; even the Blue Tits had gold top each morning.
My first car in 1972 was a 1964 Viva HA saloon (FMD 820B) from which this HA van was derived. A hand me down from my dad to get me into safer 4 wheels instead of 2. Both my Dad & I worked for GM so it was only natural that we ran Vauxhalls with cheap / free spare parts & employee car schemes. At 8 years old & 3 owners the HA Viva was already quite rusty with holes in the floor & one hole half way up the fuel tank in the boot! I fixed it up & ran it for 18 months but I never cured it's appetite for snapping clutch cables. I had a spare cable in the boot at all times & got very proficient changing clutch cables at the road side in 15 mins. Sold it on & got myself an HB Viva GT in 1974. Wish I still had the GT now cos they are ultra rare.
~Just simply wonderful ~ Thank you~ for the lovely videos~
Thanks so much, I’m so glad you’re enjoying the videos!
How much is it thanks
Send me your email and I can send you some information and photos, it’s not just as a milk van but can be a pickup or dropside, it was used for some tv and film work too!
Had a brown SS50 as a 16yr old .... threw it under the front of a Austin 1100......woke up looking at it's sump and walked away with a sore knee (freaked the proto-karen driver out) and got careless driving conviction 3 8 84 after getting knicked on it for a red light on 8 3 84.........bloody numbers but great times 🤷
What better fun can you have at 16!
Heremin New Zealand, my dad owned a 1954 Velox. Our neighbor had a 1956 velox and people over the had a 1951 Lip Velox. This was NZ in 1972. Lol
Grandad passed and he was just after buying a 93 1.3 open top British open classic to do up never got the chance sadly it's in the garden getting rusty, would it be worth selling or keeping no clue about cars can't even drive don't know what it's worth
It’s probably worth just selling as is as restoring cars and their end value are two different things!
Ap50 was faster than ss50 and fs1e
That’s a matter of opinion and definitely bragging rights in the pub on a Saturday night lol
My DAd had one of these for years for his fencing business. His car was the Viva HC. He certainly loved it. The styling is so neat, Ask a child to draw a van and they will come up with something like these pretty little vans.
Yes they’re fantastic vehicles, wish they still sold these vehicles today! They’re such great little vans
I have one like this.. Unfortunately.... The car no more functioning...abondone under the tree
Ha! You’ll have to get your spanners out and get it fixed!
Go to Fleetarin he can fix
Gorgeous gaf mate Love them vw caddys best van on the road
Thanks so much! And yeah they’re a good van with a good engine
There is a great motorcycle museum in North Walsham Norfolk. Small but perfecty formed. The fella who owns it is great, i remember when the kids were little he let them in free.
Thanks I’ll have to visit it next time I’m down that way!
Hi andrew great to see some more of your awesome collection . Cheers mate🇦🇺
Thanks so much, glad you’re enjoying the videos
Great advice given . Would like to see you buy a sign . Then explain the things you look for .with that sign, that separates it from a fake .. (As you said a fair few fakes around). Also you have mentioned in previous videos having restoration done on rarer signs.. a before and after would be good, Always enjoy a look at your magnificent collection.👌
Thanks so much! I’ll bear it in mind for one of next videos! So glad you’re enjoying them
Would love to come and film a TH-cam video up at your place Andrew😊
Yeah we’ll arrange a day! Check out my website to get my email address
You say some people give you fake advice, because they want to to buy something THEMSELVES. Talking of which - I'm sometimes disgusted by the sharp practise of Bangers And Cash! They often cut off bidding when people are still bidding. What do THEY care - they don't care if someone gets the full value from the sale of their vehicle, because auctioneers get their commission anyway, and they can similarly rush through more cars, and so earn more money themselves!
Well, I LIKE ITALS, anyway!
What a beauty of a van
Loads of great vehicles, I love the Daihatsu Charade GTti at 15:16, so rare especially in that condition.
Great turnout and the weather gods smiled. Couldn't ask for anymore.
I love the shape of the Velox and the Cresta, I think they were the best looking and best designed cars Britain ever made. The engine was very quiet in the Velox even when going up hills. I am from Oz (Aussie) and often wonder does it ever stop raining in England......
very good cheers
Hi andrew great shell sign . Cheers mate🇦🇺
What a little beauty 🎉🛻
Mine was red .
I AM INTERESTED IN BUYING IT
Intermittent Oil Pressure, Won't be the oil pump, It's caused by a pin hole (normally from the flagged joint) oil pick up pipe allowing air to be introduced, you need to face both surfaces and new gasket (never use Silicon). Job Done.
Thanks for the information - I'll pass it on to our mechanic!
Do you sell it? what is the price?
What a beauty! Who remembers the Matchbox one in those colours? I had whitewall crossply tyres on a '56 Fairlane. As you say, look great but the 'tramlining' was interesting!
Your on 100% thinking the same as me
Glad somebody else thinks the same and it's not just me haha!
Electric vans just not viable for majority of users, gotta get there sometimes A to B to C and back to A
That's exactly right! Electric cars really are just not enough for a lot of people to travel long distances
manufacturing dont want simple cars that u can fix at home as there servicing dont get any benefit
You're probably right there - nobody can tinker on with modern day cars like you could back in the day!
You seen and peugeot 505 estate cars for sale in the uk? They used to be quite common but havent seen any for years now shame as i quite liked them
The problem with electric vans should be taken very seriously. I work with a company that’s just bought 130 diesel vans as they all need to do 200+ miles a day. Sometimes 300. There’s a big issue with weight and range and how they will all recharge. I don’t know any vans that are suitable for the task in hand. We work in the remotest locations and work long shifts. Recharging is just impractical
Hopefully everybody will realise sooner rather than later about that problem - electric can't beat diesel
