This game is perfect. The world, characters, and gameplay integrate together to give you a fully immersive experience. Not trying to sound like “that guy”, but being honest, I don’t usually cry during movies or shows or even other games or books for the most part. FFX is a rare exception to that rule, I was so engrossed in the plot, world and characters that by the time this song played during the end credits I realized I was crying as hard as I was. What an experience that has RARELY been replicated. Bravo FFX.

This is one of my favourite pieces of music from any Final Fantasy game, and there's a lot of incredible competition. Even when this game first came out this song made me feel nostalgic for something I can't articulate. Now I just feel nostalgic for how simple my life was back then as a young teenager. I know almost everyone feels like this once they reach a certain age, but damn.

2 years ago when I finished FFX, I decided to immediately start this sequel. And that title screen hit so hard I couldn't even start the game till recently. This music man. Geez

This music gives me sadness pure heart warming feeling

Probably the most powerful introductory song to a game I've ever heard. To me, it also conveys the developer intent of feeling that the first ever encore sequel of a Final Fantasy's story/world being continued was bold, new, risky, and yet worth at least exploring and giving a chance, because of just how loved those characters were, and striking while the iron was hot. Final Fantasy as a franchise was freaking art and firing on all cylinders at this time in the video game landscape. This game is not how I would have made a sequel to FF10, but I respect them for being so wildly different and unexpected with it. The same world, but with actual continuation and commitment to FF10's ending ramifications, and a new message to go along with this new context for Spira and Yuna

I will never, ever forget this game. I remember when I was a kid I was looking for a game similar to anything of Sailor Moon. I wanted to be a girl character lead so bad and got this some time later. God I love this game. My first FFX-2 game and I remember crying on this song when I first heard it when I was 11 years old. I know many people dislike it but a little girl like me wanted be some magical girl lol.. Fun Fact: I didn't even play FFX until about 5 years ago lol. Nothing will ever top this Final Fantasy for me. I have so many good memories. One day I'll 100% the game to Yuna and Tidus can be together. :)

I still oddly think this is Final Fantasy's best song.

This song got me through some really tough times. I remember walking to school 30 years ago when I slid and fell. I smelled something terrible. I had slipped on some dogshit. It was on my backpack and I had to go home.

This song reminds me of 20 years ago when I discovered a hole in my favourite sock. Rest in peace, socky.

2024 someone still here?

I have been a victim my entire life. Now I am alone. I have two beautiful children that love and adore me. They made me feel. I lost both of them a year ago to a woman who used me solely to give her children, because she knew how deep my pain was. They could have given me hope for a better future. Born with disabilities, my angel of a father who loved me more than anything in the world died right next me. At the funeral my aunt picked me up and told me to kiss my father goodye on his cold and lifeless arm. I was 11 years old. The next 15 years were never ending torture. My mother hated me simply because I existed. She reminded me of that every day. She was cold, and lived her life as if my father didnt die in her arms, hands soaked in his blood from doing CPR. She treated me like a burden. A waste of a space that wasnt even important enough to acknowledge. Years later, I learned that she was like that because she had to be strong to raise me by herself. Before my dad left us my mother used to tuck me in at night, while sitting on my bed side, reading and singing to me until I was almost asleep , followed by a kiss on the cheek. I learned that she was in just as much pain as i was. Their was no time to grieve. When I listen to this, I cry uncontrollably. It is both from deep sadness, and a forlorn happiness. All the tears that fall from my eyes wash away the pain I hold deep inside me, like gentle rain drops on a hot day. I wish the tears would fall until the end of time. 🙂 If I can live through a life as tragic as mine then a flood would be a walk in the park...holding hands with mom dad.

Idk something about this track that hits me in my soul. Extremely hard to explain. It makes me think of relaxing in Hawaii in the island of Maui.

I want to go back to Spira ... give us a remake SE !

I only like one finl fantasy game, and I have never known why I bought them as a child, What I do remember is that thanks to this game, with its soundtrack, at some point I captured a moment in time, and every time I listen to this song I get excited, melancholy, and I fall in love with the deep soundtracks and the beauty of final fantasy It was magical. and now in the worst time of my life he accompanies me

I only looked for this song through Sonic classic simulator

I played To Zanarkand and Memory of Lightwave on piano on my last day in school. The game and the songs have a special place in my heart.

Takes me right back to being a 13 year old girl staying up way too late because I was so enchanted by this game. 20 years later and this soundtrack is still firmly planted in my soul.
