When I 1st came up with Longbridgeboathouse I really loved the design, but felt the size limited how much I could put inside. This time round I've increased the size to accommodate 4 Long boats and around 16 upper level rooms. The detail I feel is a lot more logical on something that could be made in the real world. It was a HUGE undertaking...but I managed to build this it took about 60 to 70 hours and it looks great. Love it!

ok I'm not negging you or anything but I saw this and noticed the careful panning, I did a tile investigation and I tried a few times to justify it but you are using suspended grounding points for sure. From the central stone pillar there are too many tiles to the front (the balcony with the shields). This is a beautiful build but there's a tiny bit of support steroids going on. Suspended grounding joints... very pretty though
I don't know what tell you, This is the base game from a year and half ago when it 1st came out. There are no mods or suspended grounding points. Only tricks I used was raising the terrain to increase the overall structural integrity. While this is right on the limit of what you could build in the game due to the structural system, it is completely archivable by anyone playing the base game. Thanks for the appreciation regardless though.
Between the two caissons (the stone understructures) and also between them and the stone circle construct in the center underneath (with the spiral decorative) there is far too little possible support for that amount of upward building to occur. I am copying it. Between both caissons theres 40m that go with no supplementary support (so that boats can go through obviously) I am literally building it right now just to prove the point.
@@mothmatix maybe I'm wrong but can you please explain how you supported the external center piece.
Would love the footprint plans to this! I’d love to do something similar but I’ve only been playing a couple of weeks and it’s already one of my favourite game of all time because of stuff like this you see in this video. Thanks for sharing! 🤗

Me and a friend is doing this build now in non-Creative. We where so amazed by the looks of this. It a Challenge, we are also thinking of doing the balcony's of stone.

You made your own fortress, your idea and making it so cool it really is the nicest structure I have seen in this player made game. Others mostly make copies of some existing buildings, so it's nice that you can, but you can see your own work at once and your character as a person. Well done, hopefully more of these :)

This is one of the problems of the he internet. Within a couple months of any new thing, it becomes old as we become inundated with iterations of said new thing. No desire to play valheim and build anymore, as every idea has already been thought of and uploaded to TH-cam. It's all been done before!

@@nico.6001 entirely a me problem! just pointing out that when I was a kid, if me and my friends played a video game, we only knew what our group were doing in that game. not the whole world. so the mystique lasted much longer.
