Totally worth it
So rickety you come off covered in bruises. There is a reason no one makes them from wood anymore.
No one? There are a lot of new Wooden Coasters constructed each year.
imagine cold morning testing rides vs warm busy night rides
I want to ride both! 😂 But those two video clips were shot 2 dispatches apart.
This is a cool looking family woodie
Is it open yet?
It wasn't for me and I went on Thursday
Its open!
Yes it's back noe
I saw me on the rideeee
It can’t be overstated just how exhilarating single rail coasters are! I experienced the RMC design at Magic Mountain and it blew me away… a very unique coaster experience. I really hope we see more Intiman and RMC creations!!
Schöne Offride aufnahmen 👍
Great quality shots! Just some editor advice if you want people to use these shots, be sure to leave some extra time(2-3 secs at the beginning and end) on each shot for people to cut as they like.
Hey, we did some questioning in the community, and it turned out people would rather have a "ready to go" sequence to take in their video than to trim too much of each clip themselves. That's also why there is a tightly cut sequence at the start. For those of us, who need additional handles for their project, we offer the source material. - process not yet automated, though.
@@CoasterTalkSource that's cool!
Make 360 or 180 3d vr video I'll subscribe you thanks ❤❤
Kinda feel bad for RMC. This is basic they break through idea but Intamin is more known, and more experiance so every park kinda just go with intamin and dont want to taking a risk with RMC. Even thought Intamin first model "Big dipper" is worse then RMC Raptors.
❤ Top Video ❤
4:04, Did Anyone Spot @CoasterTog 😮
Hyperia is the newest addition to Thorpe park! Going there today! Can't wait to see her stood tall! 💛💛
That is too crazy
The fact it literally rolled back on that part on Wednesday is so lol
That last roll is a mosasaurus roll wannabe
Apparently, it doesn't ride like that one.
Think RMC runs a great single rail coaster at Silverwood in Idaho called Stunt Pilot. First time on it I about greyed out twice. Was the first time I've ever felt that lol
Looks awesome but what's the no copyright business? A roller coaster cannot be copyrighted. IP and maybe trademarks but it is impossible to copyright one.
This relates to the video footage. The footage is provided under the creative Commons CC BY 4.0 License, allowing TH-cam creators to use this material without the worries for Copyright claims. More details provided in the video description. "No copyright" is legally speaking the wrong term as copyright cannot be removed. However this is a term that got established in the online creator community over the years.

Looks like it has a bunch of crazy airtime, I wish we had a single rail like this in the UK
It has some good Airtime (not crazy tho) you find a g-force analysis on our main channel: th-cam.com/video/Dpz8HiLodGY/w-d-xo.html
Family coasters gone wild.....😊
It's reminding me of Rail Blazer a bit with the pace
That launch is pretty impressive to be fair!
It's soo much fun!
Would love to experience this in person. What a great design!
I think the latest trend in continuous plated tracks is aimed at automating the track manufacturing process by having a simple continuous machine produced weld.
The innovators of roller coasters!!! Intamin is the best
They just stole the design of RMC a small coaster company in Idaho not really all that innovating
Which stole the concept from 1950s Mack Rides a small carousel company in Baden-Württemberg.
Hmm idk a lot copy paste rmc 🤔
Except INTAMIN's version is reliable, comfortable, and engineered with precision.
@@bobbylindsey ok ok easy 🤣
Thanks for the great footage! I love the look and flow of this ride. Especially the "arch" that is travelled twice is a great idea and beatiful entrance to the ride. But I still don´t get the recent fascination with solo-seat rides! This, the Raptors and those Zamperla Enterprise knock-offs all have single seats. You get low capacity with high-maintenance wheel assemblies (12 wheels per rider!) and where is the fun in riding alone? It´s such a buzzkill for me.
For me: I love to sit so close to the track and be right in the center of the designed heartline for the layout. It really kicks differently when the world is almost perfectly rotating around you.
Hyperia at Walibi???
Science question: Does anyone know if the tyre brake system regenerative, in that is electrical energy produced from the tyres used elsewhere? Or is this just an interesting idea I had?
I don't know it. However, I don't believe this is what's done here. The brakes have the same motors as the launch and spinn-up to match the train speed when entering the brakes, to then slowly lower its speed. Which means the motor is powered the whole time and not acting as a generator. I might be wrong, as I am not an electrical engineer, but I was under the impression that you cannot power and generate at the same time.
Hi! How bad is the vibration compared to other coasters?
I have not ridden big dipper but I wouldn't say the vibrations were impacting the experience
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
This is ride is liquid sex poured over a firm metallic base! ❤❤
looks like a fun coaster, really good footage
Its a very fun coaster, and thank you :)
Looks like it has a duelling function if it uses 2 trains.
It does not have any dueling function. The trains tend to be dispatched from the station when the other train is already on the brake run.
When a tyre boost has more power than a Mack LSM launch.
That surprised me as well!
legit mack launched are so bad 💀💀
@@johnkeller-mq6hc Just the launches though, not the coasters. The coaster layouts are usually really good. Helix for example is a top 10 worldwide coaster for me, and I have ridden 700 now. If it had really powerful launches it would be top 5 for sure. Just my opinion of course. Mahuka looks crazy, almost like an RMC Raptor. Intamin are definitely improving with the single rail with each version!

Astonishing how quiet the Intamin single rail are vs the RMC Raptors.
It’s literally like the most tame thrill coaster💀💀Astonishing how the GP can be
@@brutalhellhamerer I meant the single rail track vs the raptor. The Intamin is so quiet.
@@teddym2808 oh sorry.
@@brutalhellhamerer No problem. I just realised you were calling me GP lol. I am 51 and been a coaster enthusiast since 1998, where I have travelled all over the world from Australia (my home) just to do the newest and best. I am near 700 now. It would be higher, but I refuse to ride kiddie coasters/family coasters for a credit, credit hunters drive me insane. If I am at a park, why would I waste an hour queuing for a boring coaster when I can use that hour on the stuff I love? That's how I look at it. The lowest I will go is, say, firechaser express at Dollywood, and there is no limit at all to how extreme I will go. I will ride anything. My first looping coaster was Medusa Floorless in 2001 and we rode it 43 times (Middle May, dead day at the park). And my first ever hyper coaster was Desperado in 1998, then my second one was Apollo's Chariot in 2001! Lots of great memories. I will ride Mahuka next year on my EU trip. The Raptors still look a lot more intense (I have ridden them all thus far, even stunt pilot) however Intamin are catching up. Maybe the 3rd one will be really extreme!
@@brutalhellhamerer Edited post to make it more clear.
Using the track itself has its own spine for the highest bits is a brilliant cost savings strategy. Smart. Allows them to go up there twice without having to build any additional support structure.
in general it keeps quite low to the ground too. Depending on the cost and upkeep of the tyre launces it might be a really good value product for smaller parks looking for a modern thrill coaster. I wouldn't be surprised if we'll see more of these the coming years
@@SousaphoneMusic Other parks that have the space and cost to go big might opt to utilize an LSM launch for more powerful acceleration
Wow! Cool… a single rail family coaster that still has a lil’ bite. Gotta love it. Certainly makes optimal use of the footprint allowed.
Absolutely!
I don’t think it’s a family coaster
It's a Family-Thrill Coaster
I wish the US had more like these. Not about height. Not about greying out. A punchy whip of a ride that you can enjoy with only 2-3 "purposefully" smooth inversions. You can tell how guests hold their arms out during the launches; it's fast enough to make you scream but not so intense you have to grip the restraint and brace your neck.
Why is everyone T-posing lmao
To assert dominance
@@CoasterTalkSource😂 Reminds me of: "Why is everyone stabbing me in the back?!?" - "Cause it's easy. And it does a lot of damage".
this looks way better than big dipper just shows the potential of this model it looks so fun and comfortable
It's super fun, wished more parks already had some of them.
Given how other installations of this almost immediately developed an unbearable shake, despite relatively tamer layouts, I’m not convinced this one will stay comfortable for long.
@@iRunfastXC apparently it's a compleat re-developement of the chassis, compared to big dipper according to Intamin.
I want one
Looks like a great coaster! How smooth is it?
The track is very smooth, as it is to be expected from a new Intamin; however, the train has a slight rattle that is a little stronger in the back. Nothing that impacts the ride experience, but it is there. I suspect the small wheels are less forgiving than the regular ones.
@@CoasterTalkSource It’s probably smoother than Big Dipper at Luna park, as I heard the rattle on that single rail coaster does take away from the experience!
@ThrillsandForces Oh yes, from what I heard about the Hot Racer in Sydney this must be smoother by a lot.
The Music Bit At 9:09 Is My Favourite Bit. I Hope Either Someone Records The Entire Soundtrack Or Thorpe Park Puts The Soundtrack Up For Download
That bit is pretty cool. I am sure that Merlin will sell the soundtrack at one point.

loaded looks way more fun. Stronger dips and better hangtime
Better hangtime? What? 😂
Loaded is more fun than empty, the reason bein' that when it's empty you're not on it.
A couple more effects perhaps and I think this'll make a great lil corner!
