Hi Joe good luck with the shop. Just a thought but have you considered setting up your own auction house in that unit? You have overheads to service and it might be a way to bring in extra revenue. You’ll earn money from sellers and also buyers plus you can auction your own stuff. It might mean you’re not welcome at your local auction house but it’s just business.

Glad you are getting it sorted out. My daughter took a dog breeder to court and got £4,500 back for initial cost and medical bills as sadly her lovely dog died at 6 months mainly from overbreeding!
Small business rates relief is on a sliding scale between 12k and 15k. So at 13.5k you'd still pay 50%. Aim for under 12k if possible. If you have retail sales from the property you can also ask the council for retail relief at 75% while the RV is negotiated with the VOA. Good luck
Looking forward to your journey. Don't worry about people who say you shouldn't sell stuff that you got for free, These are normally people who don't need to earn a crust, have never known what it's like to struggle and earn a living. They are the same people who would slate you if you were on the dole. Will there be a before and after shot of the parker knoll once cleaned? 👍
If you are under the VAT limit you can apply to de-register. You need to have a turnover of £2k less than the threshold, and agree that you won't exceed it. Your accountant surely should have offered this advice, if you are under 6 figures then whichever VAT scheme you are on surely it would be beneficial to ensure your turnover is eligible for deregistration. Good luck
@@Inspiredone-c9b It should only take HMRC a few weeks to process it, they would of course issue a final VAT bill. You can always check if its been deregistered online. Pretty sure you could do it yourself but I assume you pay for an accountant who really should have done this when you asked, I would be on at them and ask them if they would pay the VAT bill that their lazyness has caused. I know VAT isn't cheap, even after 10 years of paying, I dread the quarterly VAT bill!
I think it al relates back to that beef you had with that particular bloke from that particular show you used to do with other resellers. So sad really.
A lot of the wood looks dusty and old. Grab some mr muscle and a cloth and at least give them a wipe. The mirror was filthy. Can aim for an extra few quid if they all cleaned
100% and yes I’m still in the process of setting up everything will be cleaned as the shop will be manned and whilst not dealing with customers cleaning will be done but I totally agree. Everything needs to be cleaned
It is wonderful to see you are back Joe me and my partner have missed watching your videos and watching you grow. Wishing you the absolute best in your new venture but we know you’ll smash it 🙏🏻

Good stuff, glad things are selling, you've got the right attitude to make it a success!
Use some cork backed drinks coasters on your tables for the stuff atacked on top. A lower budget option is cardboard beer mats. 👍👍
