Two old fashion communists talking about the evils of western societies and Ungle Sam while living in a Western society amd enjoying its freedom and social care of their age. Why do you live in the West, why dont you live in a non capitalist country? Why did your parents immigrated to Western countries like USA, Canada and Australia rather then stay in Yugoslavia, Hungary etc at the time? Maybe the day you stop been hypocrites your philosophical dreams might become more real ?

Yes, today you are Macedonians, but where were you in the Balkan Wars 1912-13? Where were the Macedonian Generals and rulers? There was no such thing as a Macedonians when the Treaty of Bucharest in 1913 was signed. It was basically Bulgarians fighting for their old land, but it went to Serbia..... Back then there was no such thing as a Macedonian, but Macedonists - plenty. Now, honestly nobody wants your brainwashed drunken villager position. Keep what you have, just don't steal VMRO, Gotse Delchev, Sandanski and anyone before them, because it makes you look like idiots.

Notice how not even for a second they mention Bulgaria. It's because after 1913 they became part of Serbia for 16 years, then Vardarska Banovina for another 12. In that time they were taught that they're a separate race, different to Bulgaria. Now they think they're sons of ancient Greece...

So you claim that you are for "self determination and human rights" and how Greeks etc cannot deny you the right to call your self Macedonian...and in the same breath you deny the right to others to identify as Greeks calling them Pushkari and Grkmans ! How does that work in your world?

Bulgarian here, the Yugoslav regime after WW2 made them believe that they're a separate race. The Ottoman archives in Istanbul list every ethnicity within the borders of the Ottoman region, town to town, village to village. No such thing as a Macedonian ethnic group. It's basically Bulgarians, Greeks, Turks, Vlach Romanians and Albanians who lived in that region in 1944 were enforced by the Communist regime to all document themselves as "Macedonians". Since the Serbs at the time hated Bulgaria, they made up a propaganda how Macedonians are true Slavs, while Bulgarians were Mongol-Tatars. No doubt, the biggest brainwashing in modern history.

    • @SuperMan-yg5dz

@sasho888prm....Greek here, yes for us Greeks they were always called Bulgarians too. Whoever in todays age we must accept that everyone has the right of self determination although in the case of the makedontsis they doing that by undermining the ancient and modern Greek and Bulgarian (respectively) history of the Macedonian area. The issue with this specific "bitter old man" posting his "old, Australian " views is that he is full of hypocrisy and displays lack of human rights and rights to self determination to everyone while claiming them him self. Every word in his clip is oozing of hatred and lies, I will not bother with facts about it as they are well know and his attempts to reignite the makedontsi stupidity of the 1990s is doomed to fail.

These people are delusional. Population movements affected all Balkan nations with no exception, with the biggest victim the Greeks who lost their homelands in Bulgaria , north of Macedonia , and Turkey. Whilst the Greeks have carried on with their lives , these delusional people , who lived in larger numbers in a narrow strip of land in north Greece , are moaning all over internet, claiming that they were the majority in Greek Macedonia whilst they were not and saying that they were the only victims of Balkan nationalism.

@brankogligorov5914 Bulgarian here, I completely accept the new Macedonian identity, but for Macedonians to say they have no relation at all to Bulgaria, when Delchev and Sandanski spent 90% of their lives crossing Bulgaria left, right and centre preparing weapons and organising revolts against the Ottomans within the still enslaved regions of Macedonia and Odrin.. it's a f*cking crime to deny that and to pretend to be foreigners to Bulgaria
