I know you blow up the head, what I am showing is if your in a bind or having a hard time getting a full on head shot they are other ways of taking down chargers, albeit there are some steps

I really like playing with the railgun still on automaton worlds just for the fantasy of plinking bots from a mile away with a super charger shot

@@LibertysLegion It's SUPER good for armor. Just don't miss the Charger's head that's about to turn you into a flesh pancake💀 if you're solo or your team mates aren't running something like EAT then it's not really worth it though

@bornofstardust5910 yeah I’ve been running if the group is stacked or atleast if my group has atleast two other support stratagems just on the off hand chance the railgun isn’t hitting as hard

I don’t disagree, a buddy was just saying the same thing last night, it’s gonna suck but hopefully they upgrade or buff some others some more to keep things in line

Definitely is a good strat it’s true it has some faults!

Once you get the hang of it, it’s a devastating weapon to have, and after learning you can easily time the cool down and kite enemies if need be

Hell yeah, it is a bit weird the first couple of times, the angle does have to be right but once you learn the angle you can take long range shots with the AC and not worry about getting slapped by a bot

I usually switch it up depending on solo play or group play, if I’m dropping alone I bring an autocannon sentry and bring it either EAT or recently quasar, if I’m doing solo bugs up until suicide missions, AC all the way

I have been liking the auto cannon sentry more and more due to its long range, I swear it sees enemies that aren’t in view yet and just starts blasting!!

I have been running stun grenades damn near every game due to how effective they are!

If you pick and choose your engagements for the bugs you can clear out all of them from a distance with the auto cannon

But I will say for pure versatility it is one of the best stratagems we have for going against both enemies of super earth!!

@@LibertysLegion for sure. I’ve been practicing running solo missions against bots and the autocannon has been a major work horse for me.

I find that for bugs it depends a bit on what kind of spawning you get. It's very useful for dealing with bile spewers or brood commanders, but not a great fit for hunter swarms and not really ideal for Chargers or Bile Titans. I wouldn't take it as a solo weapon, but if you're running in a team it's very handy for one person on the squad to bring.

@chengarqordath for bug it is totally down to situation and what you trying to accomplish, I’ve had some rough drops that made me re consider using the AC but it can take down a lot of the bigger stuff in a pinch, for bike titans and chargers it a bit of pain if you are being swarmed but if you can kite you take them down with good shots and time!! A little tip you can stop the bile titan from spewing if you shoots if acid sack, but it is a gamble for sure

I’ve been meaning to try out the recoil reduction armor, I did see somewhere that the reduction is a flat 30% regardless and then it increases if your crouched or prone!!

Well if we are getting technically loading the stripper clips into the mag, when I was recording I went back and forth on that lol

@@LibertysLegion you are correct, they are stripper clips. the AC rounds are loaded into an internal magazine

@MackDonaldo that is true when I was witting everything down I took from the helldivers database for the stats, when I was reading it I even said to myself well it’s technically a drum magazine being fed by stripper clips

I’ve had a lot of fun with team reloads, especially if you can get some high ground you could rip apart every elite as long you got the ammo lol

The railgun is definitely my secondary if I believe it’s gonna be a more on the run type of deal, a quick tip if you can get off the first part of the reload with the auto cannon where it does the long reload, once the magazine shows half press the dive button cancel half way through incase your in a tight bind

@@LibertysLegionYeah good point. I've also noticed the autocannon reloads the first half much faster than a completely empty magazine. So do top it off if you are at 5 or less shots remaining.

@@LibertysLegion Yessir! EAT for the really heavy stuff - dropships, bile titans, chargers, tanks; while autocannon takes out pretty much everything else. Rapidly and with a lot of ammo.

I didn’t know you could take down the AA turrets with it, I’m gonna have to try that out I usually just bomb or drop a laser, I’ve been wasting my stratagems!! Thanks and I have found it is great at picking off the more important bots like devastators and such so that clean is a breeze!! Also great at taking out heavy bug nests, you can just kite the edge and take out almost all of the whole before they start to get you

@@LibertysLegion Oh sure, and the other trick is to aim for further-back units, first, when they're grouped tightly. This increases the chance of your splash hitting the unit just in front. Or if it ricochets off of a heavy Devastator's shield, it might fly into further-forward units. And I have to test this, but I think you need to hit berserkers in the waist. Hitting upper torso will stun lock them, but takes 3/4 hits. Sometimes I aim for points around sentry bots to try and get them with splash damage. Like the ceiling of a bunker, etc.

@benthurber5363 I have noticed that if you hit striders center mass while there near other bits it can easily rip apart tight patrols!!

I completely understand and agree for the most part, if running solo I would prefer the quasar for not runs just because it’s usability and effectiveness is amazing, but if I’m running duos or even full squads Ill take the auto cannon just for the ease of use for punch holes in debaters and hitting them from a far

That solo stealthy load out is killer, and my opinion of the orbital laser is that it perfect for automatons but not so great with bugs I feel it takes to long for it to do lots of damage to the bugs and usually my load out for solo is auto cannon, 500kg or laser for bots then energy shield and air strike for solo play, when I run with my brother for our duo runs he usually runs 500kg while I run laser for heavy bot forces and to give us a fighting chance if we get swarmed or to open up an engagement!

I am in the same boat with you!! On every mission outside of a few duos dives with my either I am mainlining this support weapon more then any other, it takes out bug hives from a distance it allows for ease of use lots of maneuverability!! Tanks have the same weak point on the back as turrets. But team isn't usually smart enough to get it to not aim at you while also not dying to it

My brother and eye usually draw the attention and thankfully due to the planets we have been liberating, have been quite rocky so one of us draws attention while the other hits the crit spot

That is a viable option since the patch but it still seems slow if you don’t get the first could spray on them

I forgot about the eagle rocket pods, but you definitely could sub out the precision strike for it and just run the stun and drop the rock pod, and for the EAT on top of the charger doesn’t always work, atleast for me in my testing, but it does come in handy if your in a tight pinch

@@LibertysLegion TBH, try this. Call down EATs behind cover. Throw an Eagle Rocket Pod at a Bile Titan, then fire both EATs. = Dead Bile Titan, on a low cooldown

Thats honestly a great load out, I’m gonna give this a try, I will be honest I haven’t tried out the rocket pods very much! So this is gonna be fun thanks for the suggestion!

@@LibertysLegion Well if you want a full loadout. Bugs: Field Scout Armor Sickle Rifle Redeemer Pistol EMP Grenade Supply Backpack Grenade Launcher Rocket Pods EAT For bots, do the same thing, but Railgun. Hulk + EMP Grenade + Full Charge Rail to the red eye = Dead Hulk

Yeah I agree the nerf to the railgun was a little harsh and with the EAT now being able to be called down 60 to 70 seconds even with complex stratagems included it definitely changed the meta

@@LibertysLegion yeah it was a weird nerf now that there’s so many options that kill them faster than the pre nerf railgun

Hopefully in the next patch or couple of weeks we get some different support stratagems

@@LibertysLegion I’m hoping the quaser cannon comes soon. It looks like it could be a fun one to run since the laser cannon lacks against chargers compared to everything else

Typically if done correctly with a fully charged shot it is 2-3 depending on where you hit the charger in the leg

It definitely is viable but I know you have to throw it at certain angles but in a pinch it works especially if your out of stratagems or ammo!!

That is a good load out, but I prefer using the stun grenade cause it frees up a stratagem slot, but to each their own!!

I was using the precision strike, I meant to say that the rail cannon is automatic! But if you are low level and don’t have rail cannon yet you could, run stun grenade then precision strike and it will take out the charger and some other enemies that are closer due to its Aoe being quite large for a precision stratagem

I’ve had mine crash at random since the patch idk exactly why, it seems to have stabilized since then, but it does stutter randomly! I would try verifying the files and see if that helps, if you haven’t already hopefully a hot patch is issued soon for some of the others issues since the patch!

@@LibertysLegion apparently the arc weapons are making the game crash... So arc cannon, arc shorty, Tesla tower.

I’ve had the same issue as well, but it has been sporadic when it comes to the arc weapons! I’ve erred on the of caution when deploying with them but no crashes as of late

I had that happen to me as well it’s seem they have fixed the blowing yourself up with your rickets part but at the same time caused other issues lol

Yeah my suit exploded even tho I was standing completely still and look straight forward, I hope they fix this before the introduce the emancipator

I hope they do too they seem to fragile even in the best circumstances!!

I think they did, I believe it hit us before the emote was fully complete it happened so fast so it’s hard to tell lol

You have to complete the lost sector by itself then it should show up as the lost sector of the day and become repeatable on legend or master! Hope this helps

Sorry this is from before Lightfall so the arc hunter build was still one hitting champs it takes about three hits now! I haven’t made a new video for perdition on my arc hunter yet thi season sorry about that

Of course I’m glad my build could help, and it just takes time and practice and before you know it your blazing through those lost sectors like crazy!!

You probably need to complete the lost sector and then you should be able to run it legend or master after
