I watched this while high last week (because the first is my absolute favorite stoner movie) and man not all the weed in the world could make this movie enjoyable. It’s just a bunch of weird, unfunny drivel that’s just offensive for the sake of being offensive. “HEHEHE HITLER HEHEHE RAPE SO EDGY” Also the New Jersey segment was one of the most racist things I’ve ever seen in my life. Just the way the crow characters are drawn in this sequel alone makes me cringe…

I did not know that that 3-headed dude was from this movie. I've read everything there is to read with Devilman and watched most of the animated stuff but have avoided this intentionally for decades at this point. I think it's about time because I'm that desperate for Devilman. Thanks for the review

i was 8 when i saw Threads. I didn't even make it through the attack scenes before running off in tears. could barely sleep for days... seeing it as an adult i was able to recognize it for the masterpiece of cinema that it is. now i have to find When the Wind Blows so i can watch the rest of this video.

If they cut all the sex and boners out, maybe alluded to it like 2 of them going behind a tree and then cut to the female being pregnant/ mother and baby. AND if they had subtitles for there grunts, throw in a little comedy, etc, then it would have beeen a phenomenal movie. They missed their target hard.

One of the problems Douglas had with Kubrick was the authorship of the the script. Dalton Trumbo who was on the black list wrote it. Kubrick told Douglas he wanted use his name for the writing credit which infuriated Douglas.

Lol, for someone who's not interested in this film genre, u r being very sweet. I read the book as a child and was enchanted by the idea of the 'little guy' winning. So to speak. I'm 65. In the age the book was written, women were still very much repressed: only good for having babies, clean the house, shut ur mouth...u get the picture. That our heroine gets to fulfill her dream after all, is the point 🙂
