Once you got to the transmission this started looking more like a salvage title car build 100 percent
Im sure the low pressure pump is probably installed wrong then too.

I'm planning on getting a Kuro+ turbo because it seems like the sweet spot between RV660 power and the Kuro fast spool time. I'm going to stay on non-ported head but litterally upgrading and doing the works on everything else. Can I get your opinion on these things please?

Why does the positive pressure cause the fans to work harder? You’re also just making a statement, I actually don’t believe it makes positive pressure bc there is air coming in the front vent and the back of the tray area is open. So your theory seems to be incorrect. The new undertray is useless is most applications.

Is the Accord bottom end the same as the type r? Limit it to 450 torque? What if my MHI stage 2 will take me to 500+ wheel can the torque then be limited under 450 if I’m making over 500? Thanks !
The accord motor and Type R motor are different but you can always limit the torque 500 HP and 400 torque if you wanted that. Or 500 and 450 or 500 and 300. Custom Tune
@@thinkforyourself5672the accord motor and type r motor are the same with slight differences. As for them holding the same tq. They use the same rods from the factory.

If Mitsubishi only rates the MHI stage 2 for 400+ would it be reliable at 500+?
I’ve done tons of them at 500whp reliably. They are underrated. They are rated 500 on gas not on ethanol.
The aerodynamics of the blades was what drew me into turbo machinery. The turbine's blades are shaped like converging nozzles, which converts pressure energy to kinetic energy, or accelerates the exhaust gases through the reducing diameter between the blades. This acceleration then blows down into the exhaust pipe, the pressure entering the turbo is much higher than the accelerated flow exiting the turbine blades into the expanding volume of the exhaust, a favorable pressure gradient moves the hot exhaust gases over the turbine blades, the airfoil shape produce a lift force combined with the direct gas impingement, and bam that sucker starts spinning at unbelievable speeds. There's a good 30-60hp worth of energy in that exhaust driving the turbine at full boost, depending on how spicy you run it.
It only gets much higher the larger the turbo. Such as my g35-1050. You simply don’t make as close to peak turbo capability when you go bigger without increasing displacement. You can make 630whp on a g25-660 but you only make 850whp tops in a g35-1050 regardless of turbine housing.
@@Fk8td Have you seen the racing crate engines from HPD based on the K20C1? Their 600hp flavor has a cylinder head with individual exhaust ports.
sorry remove undertray make cooling worse, but not because of hot pavement of course (engine has higher temp than pavement anyway)...its because without undertray air is rotating under the car and make that possitive pressure in engine bay what we do not want...and also can cause lift...that is why race cars have flat underbody to reduce lift and increase down force... but its true what you said that some holes in undetray can suck air out of engine bay and create under pressure.
Do you own a Civic Type R?. Go back and watch the video again I said, sitting in traffic in hot summer weather. I also said I tested that exact scenario. I took off my under tray at one point because it’s so hot here. I was trying to have the car run cooler sitting in traffic. It made it worse. I’m also well aware of why racers have flat bottom cars but did you listen to what I said about not everybody can afford $10,000 a front end work? Also, the amount of lift that you’re proposing would go under the vehicle from this undertray would literally only come into affect well above a 160 miles an hour in this case. Just having a front splitter on the vehicle reduces quite a significant amount of air that goes under the vehicle. I think I should mention that thanks to me. Matthew holds the enthusiast class world record in Time Attack at Road Atlanta from the set up I suggested. The reduction in temperature benefit completely outweighs a flat bottom benefit on the Fk8. Due to the headifold, design cooling the exhaust of the cylinder head these cars have a severe challenge in cooling and especially when you are north of 550 hp to the wheels.

How do you diagnose failing injector? Fuel pressure readings are within spec, compression test is good, visual inspection of the bores show cylinder 3 is cleaner than the others. (Fuelwashing?) I have misfires cylinder 3 and going in limp mode when asking high power output from engine or high rpm’s. Spark plugs are replaced and ignition coils are swapped (to rule out bad coil) Misfires stay in cylinder 3. Also there is a louder than normal injector tick. I have not too much experience diagnosing GDI systems, but I’m pretty sure the injector of cylinder 3 is defective. You think I can do any other checks to confirm that’s the issue? Also what is the average lifespan of a Gasoline Direct Injector? This is for a Peugeot 207cc with a 1.6HPE ‘Prince’ engine (same as in mini-coopers)
Believe it or not one of the simplest ways is to check the color of the spark plugs. A failing direct injector should have a poor spray pattern. The plug will either be darker significantly or lighter depending on the issue. The easiest way is to take it out and put it in a testing machine. Unfortunately, in car, there are not too many ways to test and have proper verification. If it is failing electrically, you will have to use a scope to see if there’s an issue. You would have to check current draw and waveform. These are the only true ways to diagnose a direct injector.

I’ve been In the 3000gt platform for years and I know mid 500 wheel in a 3800+ lb car with more drivetrain loss was able to run 10 seconds at 126+. So I imagine more power and 700+ lbs weight advantage would run a good time if you could 60 foot good.
