The error appeared out of nowhere two days ago. Full error message is "no active licenses to create and open projects, you need an active license" B-but I have license ??

Bro, I’ve been wondering about that too. It seems to happen randomly from time to time, and it makes me panic every time, fearing my project might be bricked.
@@arigatechgozaimucho954 So after few hours of researching this is kinda an engine glitch which cause engine go funky on the library folder, next time you don't have to re install any unity registry packages which only works few times as I read on the Unity forum, what you should do is delete the library folder and re open the project again to let it regenerate all the library files again so it could have all files in good condition without missing anything and ye problem will be solve 100%

not working for me. if I revert to never notify and turn off UAC then the warning pop up again. if I don't revert the process then it isn't showing any warning. IF I DO NOT TURN OFF UAC THEN IS IT OK?

it made it worse now i started getting 3 errors and nothing opens even after reverting back to original settings and restarting i had to go to properties and tick run ad admin to make it work again without that it just crashes now

Didn't work. The UAC had no effect on the pop-up! I even reinstalled a fresh Windows 11 and it didn't help. I eventually made it work by creating a regular user account on Windows without admin rights. So I just log on to that when I want to use Unity. Since my win 11 starts with all admin rights and that bothers Unity.

@@arigatechgozaimucho954 It was more work searching google and youtube for solutions. And none worked. Spent an entire evening doing that plus reinstalling windows 11. Till a friend told me to make a local user account without admin rights. That only took like 10 min and was easy. Now it works fine and is the best solution, cause this way I'm sure Unity does not run in elevated mode. Just getting rid of the pop-up is not enough. You can still damage your pc with bad code that way. Cheers.
