For the features in custom os i would want lots of your optimizations and tweaks since all those other custom os are debloated/no tracking, etc already,so it would be cool if your version will have something unusual like a selling point. maybe in the future a simple ui with settings to try and test,logs and measurments to see which does make a difference on each pc setup then you can survey the data and make a video about it which settings work the best for majority or smth or am i thinking like a big corp?dunno xd

The thing with custom Windows is that they are all hacks, all of them. So unless there is transparency coming from the provider, telling you exactly what has been done to debloat Windows, DO NOT use a custom Windows. You're putting trust to 3rd parties at that point, and you must be cautious.

At 5:12, do NOT set "FastSendDatagramThreshold" to 64000, it will increase throughput but it will increase latency a whole bunch. Explanation: This setting controls the maximum datagram size that is sent using the fast path in the Windows AFD (Ancillary Function Driver). Higher values can improve throughput but may increase latency if the packet size exceeds MTU, so if your MTU is 1500 (which typically every router is set to 1500 MTU), you will experience latency. Lower values keep packets within the Ethernet MTU limit (1500 bytes), reducing fragmentation and latency.

Thank you so much for the video! finally someone is talking about these custom OSs, I've been using Windows 10 Ghost Spectre 22H2 for over 4 years now, without Windows defender too, I haven't encountered anonymous files or viruses of any kind, not that I'm aware of it at least. My logic is, if you know how to use the web then you will not need an antivirus, but this tip is not for everyone. I am planning to switch to Windows 11 so seeing the Custom OSs really encourages me to go for it!

If you have a good internet connection, like fibre, untick QoS. Some games actually use IPv6 for gaming, and as it's more widely adopted, more games will. Do not disable IPv6. The other "tweaks" are okish.

You show hardware prefetcher on with better scores on the graph, but then recommend to turn it off. Or am I reading it wrong? Like On means it's disabled.

if you dont have the sqm thing, and have fast internet 1000 download, is QOS even worth turning on?

custom os are not for high end pcs its for systems that struggle to run the os properly so with a high end build youll not see much difference try it on a lower end system and the results will be different
