The Little Hope slander of everyone... it's horrendous. Because it actually is my favorite game :( Here is my ranking: 6. The Quarry - This is such a mess and never should've made it to release. 5. House Of Ashes - The worst and an absolute mess. It drags on for too long aswell. 4. Until Dawn - Controversial yes. But I found this game a big mess and I disliked most characters. 3. Man of Medan - It was decent for me, just the cast and the storyline are meh. 2. Devil In Me - On first playthrough, I found this worse than HOA. But I like the H.H. Holmes concept. 1. Little Hope - The first game I ever played and I somehow connected to the characters more than with any other game.

I agree with everything you had on the list except for Little Hope. I think it should be lower. I hated the ending. I liked the whole game up until that point.

now that they've got brenda song and ashley tisdale, how long do we think it'll be til the bring in debby ryan? lol she's the only suite life girly who hasn't been used at this point

I've played all of these except Until Dawn . . . I might have to pay it a visit - seems like lots of people prefer it over some of the others. You're so right, though - Maybe I loved the quarry because I haven't played Until Dawn! Thank you so much for the video! Well done as always! <3

Great list, nice surprise because it's quite similar to mine :) 6. Quarry: Very overrated, the only 1 of these games that I've only finished once. Most of the characters are awkward and childish, I didn't find many positives in this game... 5. LH: A huge disappointment, I expected much more from it and the ending is an indescribably big let down 4. MoM: It was totally fine as a 1st DPA game 3. HoA: Nice surprise, it has the best characters out of all the DPAs 2. DiM: l totally agree with u + l really liked the new game mechanics n the secret ending was awesome :) 1. UD: Definitely still the best

what about casting of frank stone? (its still a supermassive story driven game, even if its meant for dead by daylight players)

1. House of Ashes It was a great decision to reduce the main cast to 5, so everyone could shine. This entry also has my favourite cast overall from any Supermassive game. The setting and story kept me intrigued till the end, furthermore the twist was surprising and interesting plus it made perfect sense plot wise. 2. Until Dawn A great cast of characters, the scariest of their game and with most interesting story. Even though the twist is a little unbelievable, it was still very surprising. Unfortunately with 8 characters, some of them feel like side characters. 3. Devil in Me My 3rd favourite characters overall. The traps, location and character dynamics made this game very enjoyable, the villain was a huge let down: uninteresting and his powers felt inconsistent 4. Man of Medan Most characters feel lifeless or just annoying, the "twist" was shown at the beginning, however there were some tense moments and well done endings 5. Little Hope One of the most boring games in the franchise. Running from a monster to one place, seeing a double getting excuted without us being to save them, then repeat this cycle a couple of times till the end. The ending was obviously a huge let down. The two positive things I can say is that the story was quite interesting and John was by far the best character in this. 6. The Quarry I didn't like it at all, felt like an Until Dawn copy without understanding why UD works. Most characters were annoying or one dimensional, some scenes even are hilariously bad. No proper ending to this game also

Definitely agree with the list, but personally I think the quarry was still better than any of the dark pictures games. Until dawn definitely deserves first place! Keep up the good work

Loved your review. I have played all exception Devil Within, which i am hoping to play soon. You actually got me more invested in the anthology, i was always weary with new games, but seeing you playthroughs on twitch helped me dive right into the anthology games. I would love to see an indept review of devil in me or a replay of Until Dawn. Keep up the amazing work!

Great list. my personal ranking is different, but I respect your opinion. My ranking is: 6. Man of Medan- interesting concept but overall not so gut characters, and predictable plot twist 5. Little hope- I just don't like "it was all a dream", but nevertheless the concept of exploring human mind is interesting 4. The quarry- for me this game was too rushed, interesting concept, but the characters for me felt too unrealistic in some of them decisions and some choices seems to be meaningless 3. The devil in me- the story was great, exploring the mansion of h h holmes was really fun and even scary sometimes, but the characters feel flat for me, especially Kait and Mark 2. House of ashes- I don't really like "war stuff", but for me the story was phenomenal, the characters and their emotions felt real in this game and I was actually captivated by the story both about the aliens and the aspect of working as a team with your former enemy. Also exploring the ruins of ancient civilisation is a wonderfull and exiting expirience 1. Until Dawn- hardly any surprise, for me this game have some of the best atmosphere and story out of any games that I played. aspects of Josh falling into madness, discovering that Hanah is actually a wendigo or learning about the miners and their tragic story is what makes this game briliant. Moreover the cast of this game is generally the best out of all of this games. I generally love most of the characters, and even the ones that I don't like that much (Jess or Josh) makes for such a fun expirience. The story is csptivating, well writen, with grate characters and amazing twist

Although Man of Medan should have been much higher on this list, due to its wonderful storytelling and sublime acting, but overall a good list!

Once again, I am utterly blown away by the way you articulate each of your thoughts. I do agree that some of the art could have been consistent across how the game communicates feel to you right down to the music. I look forward to seeing what this development team might be doing in the future considering there were a lot of things they tried to do that were new and fresh to the JRPG/Turn Based genre.

Damn that's a shame. Was really looking forward to this. Will wait for a sale.

Looks so peaceful! I would see it fitting perfectly on a handheld to play on commute as you said or even while laying in bed just before sleeping. Pretty much a game you could use for the same purpose as some books
