Let’s Fix that huge hole we put in this bumper.
I know there are a million ways to repair this or make it less of an eye sore, this is how I handled it.

@@gsxroyce256 I agree!
Does your upper control arm have spherical bearings too or polyurethane? Does it matter? I have a spherical differential housing spherical bearing laying around here that I’ve thinking about having my shop install, but wondering if I need to change my upper control arm out to one with a spherical bearing. It has a polyurethane bearing in it now. Thank you.
No I have poly bushings in the control arms. I will tell you the spherical bearings will transfer noise and even squeak. So if that will annoy you I would stick with a stock style then bushing then.
@@forcefedhatch I wonder if I would even hear it. I have a one piece driveshaft, 373 gears, and a T 56 magnum. Car makes quite a bit of noise as it is. It’s a 2011 Mustang with a built coyote and a 2.65 VMP blower. Really curious about how much traction will improve? I’ve done everything I can, including 28 inch Mickey Thompson’s on the back. Thank you very much for replying.
@mgreene011 I could absolutely hear I difference and my car had a bumper exit exhaust, but it’s also gutted from the front seats back. So that also will give me tons of noise.
@ how much do you think this one part contributes to reducing wheel hop?
@ in actuality it helps a good amount, but I think stiffening the whole chassis would gave been more beneficial
Great video.. I like this kind of stuff a lot.. People think if you don't have the newest car out or if your not Mod'ed the hell out of your car it's not a good video.. I gave up on making video's for other people.. There's way to many childish people out there who just want to be critics for the sake of being an ass whole.. I started making TH-cam video's for myself to have a Vlog of all the stupid shyt I have done over the years. And it is funny to go back and watch the stuff you used to believe and how Our opinions change over time... I never post vid's to TH-cam for the sake of Sub's or money.. I do it for myself so I can go back 3 years later and see just how foolish I was and if something I post happens to help the next person than so be it and that's great.. That's why it's always funny to me when people try to take shots at my vid's like I'm some Pro TH-camr or something like that.. Cause I am not and never will be.. I have a career and a part time job.. That's why My video's are made with a smartphone and I could care less about how many Sub's I have.. And like I said before, if you aren't on the latest platform weather it's an S650 or a C8 and then spending another 20K on Boost, Fuel, and everything else needed to get the power down to the street, your channel isn't going to do well.. It's just the way it is...
I feel the exact same way, it’s more to help the younger generation as well. I have 3 kids that could use advice later if I’m not here. With these I still am.
Estimate of how much was spent on materials and tools ? Want to give this a try myself even though it will be challenging
I have about 900.00 in it total. It is challenging, but make sure ya buy extra to practice with. Practice makes perfect!
How’s the ride after the install I’ve been looking at buying them but read something that said “Due to the use of spherical bushings within this product, you will experience an increase in noise, vibration, and harshness”
@@JeffsBackyardBuilds oh it’s for sure transferring more noise but it’s holds the road better. Much less wheel hop, but yes I hear every bit of road noise.
sounds like it may still be worth it, I’ll be running a 97 with a 5.0 from an explorer when I get done with it. What control arms are you running on the rear end as well?
@ I have UPR chromoly control arms in the rear as well as UPR chromoly K member, coilovers, and chromoly tubular control arms up front.
@@JeffsBackyardBuilds I’ve got quite a bit lol suspension wise up front and rear
@ this will be my second v8 swapped sn95 and I’d like to take some footage of it and start uploading and do it better than the last one, I appreciate all the info and you getting back to me with answers and love your build!
I just purchased the pro racer software off of losota racing. Is this the same software you used in the video?
It sure is!
Yk if these parts work for a 2010 mustang gt auto to manual transmission swap?
I’m sure there are many differences since the 2010 is a new generation of mustang. I’m sure the parts will work, but for that particular generation obviously.
I have one myself in the box, my car is a stock 09 CVPI with 160k, seems like a waste to put it on my car, though about selling it and buy the new Ford be fine for my stock daily driver.
Did they happen to have the same issue on the 4R70W? Or just the t45
If I do recall I had to get a different seal for my 4r70w
Hey Man I’m looking to put the same turbo on my ‘14 Mustang v6. Would say this would be a good reliable one to buy? Also how much did you pay for the install?
I mean it will work, for a v6 it’s pretty large may not be the best.. I paid nothing because I built the kit myself
@ Alr thanks for the info
@@forcefedhatch do you any other turbo chargers that will be a better fit for the v6?
@ sadly no, I would check compressor maps and go from there
ok thanks and how much hp did you gain from it?
just saved me a headache awesome tip!!!
@@calebkidd113 awesome!! It’s not a fun headache at all!
Try the Fel Pro perma dry intake gaskets they have a metal frame and wont fail like the plastic ones tend to. I've been using them for years and never had a problem. I started using them after I had a plastic ford gasket warp and start leaking. FEL-PRO MS 98008 T-1 Intake Manifold Gasket Set
Nice! I’ll have to look into those when needed. Thanks for the info!!
Nice New Edge!!!.
Thank you!!!
@forcefedhatch 👍
Does it harm or destroy the gear selected?
@@alvinmathews8024 oh I’m sure it’s not good for the gearset, luckily I have a new shaft with gears already. More the splines for the blocker ring section on the gear than the actual teeth on the gear.
@@forcefedhatchSo does it instantly damaged the gear after 1 grind?
No, it does take some time. Each grind does wear down the teeth on the gearset, but it won’t be the end all of you just be easy on it.
Do you think an S197 will be similar to this?
That I truly don’t know, I would imagine that as long as you use the same software(advantage 3/pro racer software) it theoretically should be the same. Depends on how the speed sensors vary from one to the other.
You're pretty evil... That's obviously a built car and now people everywhere with a 2V are going to buy this and install it to realize it sounds nothing like it haha.

? On the 99 V6 to 5.0 swap did u change the 99 k member to a 94/95 k member.
@@scottcatron3924 yup, you can use the v6 k member but it puts the engine a little too far back towards the firewall and cause issues with the intake manifold(unless you’re using a carb.)

I would love to see you do a s366 type turbo on the 4.6. I think it would be perfect I just haven't seen anyone throw one on.
@@isaacpsi that would be a good match, I wonder why now as well.
Does he have a parts list
@saintdead3043 parts list is in my auto to manual swap videos, mainly the cost video that starts it off.
Bro, I hate to tell you but the radiator support doesn't have anything to do with how high you jack your car up to drop the drivetrain.. It may be too late for this but you can delete the ps cooler altogether unless you're autocrossing or road racing a lot..
I’m pulling the drivetrain straight out the front, I have minimal lift space to lift the front clip as high as the intake manifold. The car can be nearly stock height on jackstands as the k member can be dropped on my dolly and the whole drivetrain rolled out very easily. It’s all preference, and what I have available space wise within a safe margin. The cooler relocation has been fine. Just added insurance. The motion raceworks piece also has the mounts already integrated into it for my treadstone intercooler, which was an added bonus and another factor in the setup.
I am building a remote mount turbo on my 4.6 2003 grand Marquis, only planning on 4-7 psi as i have stock internals at 160kmi are you saying you cant blow through the maf at all? What about relocating it to the rear of the vehicle?
@@TACOMASRT5 the maf will peg quickly, I was pegging the maf(maxing out its resolution reading) at only 2psi. If you plan to use the stock maf you need to use MAFia range extender(that’s what I used but it still wasn’t ideal because the tune had to be modified for it quite a bit) I ultimately went with the Pmas HPX-E maf and it’s super smooth now.
Just needs a 50/70 shot down low. I'm kidding, kinda. I would definitely go smaller though. Cool car btw
@@emoryzakin2576 yeah that could wake it up lol, yeah smaller will be happening. Thank you as well!
Actually in the process of buying a 2v to drift. Think ima sell mine and steer away from drag racing
It seems super fun!
That horsepower comment goes crazy
Good lord. No wonder you are wanting a turbo that spools sooner, you aren't even making boost until the very top of the 4.6 L RPM range. Sure, for highway pulls that might be fun, but like you said, its virtually unusable in any other scenario. I look forward to more videos about your car.
@@vulture8878 oh absolutely, it’s a fantastic turbo for an auto car. For a stick car a smaller turbine is best to get that boost back between shifts. This is also with a 3.27 gear as well!
