Maybe a weird question but I haven't been able to find any results through Google, how do people join this? I couldn't find any of the usual groups where sign ups might normally happen (Facebook group, Discord, ect.) so I was curious about where to start looking

Great game! Funny thing about Strange’s Spells: I pointed out several times to guys in Facebook DT group that the Leaflet says to resolve Spells one after the other, but they point to some Discord DT ruling that’s supposed to overrule the leaflet. According to them I can’t resolve a spell and then use Rings of Ragadorr to cast that same spell from the discard as a part of the same ability because both Spells resolve simultaneously. That would also prevent casting Flames of Faltine and then benefitting from the card being in your hand again. But I was always a proponent of doing it the way it’s written on the Leaflet

Lots of confusion there in the beginning. At 6:55 mrben should have been at 36 health and had no kegs on his hero board since TASmaster played "Light the Fuse". Powder Kegs are isolated damage and should be deducted from the health dial immediately to avoid confusion. mrben ended up rolling for a keg that shouldn't have been there causing him to take an extra 3 damage for no reason.

FYI, my reading of the rules is that you cannot flip Nyra by gaining a health in the same round. The card reads that if Nyra is at 5, flip the Nyra, if not, she heals one. So at 2:04 she was at 0, you used two Bonds to get her to 4, but then you applied the Upkeep HP to get her to five and then flip her, which was incorrect. However, you actually do it correctly the second time she went down. . I've been playing Huntress a bit, and she's tough to play. I find I am chasing Feral Instincts and Straights. Like you, I find it really heard to roll Soulless Bond on defense.

I felt bad for Starscream watching you get all those lucky dice rolls. You were definitely rolling hot this game. When he dies at the end and just threw his health dial… I felt that. 😢 Good job though. Excellent tactical advantage management.

Tactician is very strong character. Even with no CP his tactical advantage tokens more than make up for it.

I'll probably never play the game this way but it's nice to see how they work.

That was a great comeback for sure. Moon Elf seems like one of those characters where your game will be amazing or horrible. No in between.

Thanks for posting. On your first defensive roll, you forgot to give yourself two CP. Good thing it did not matter in the end.

Sorry about the overlay for characters being really dim in the first match. Had all kinds of technical issues during this stream. It gets fixed around the 8-9 minute mark!

Really excited to see Spiderman in action. Thank you to Mudturtle for playing him. Spiderman is not easy to play. He does not have any clear path to victory. He also suffers greatly from not having an easy-to-roll undefendable damage attack like Huntress, Black Panther, Samurai, etc. Webbed is hard to maintain and large chance of being disrupted. That said, I think there are some things I would have done differently. 1. Take Spider Reflexes when you get it (If you get a Spider keep a Web). Too often I see people chasing Combo. This can be counter-productive against Pyro. Because she is not blocking damage, I think Spidey is much better of using Spider Reflexes which can really wallop. Hit this twice in a row and you can put her down 20 points. Consider using a Samsies here when you roll a 6 and 1 for seven damage. Pump this to 12. 2. Don't sell Web Shooter. This card is actually really good. If you can play that card at the start and then roll Ensnare, you're damage is undefendable and Webbed sticks for next round as well. Avoiding Pyro's defense for even one round can be the difference. 3. Anticipate that your opponent is going to keep a Tip It, So Wild, or Helping Hand to try and foil your last use of Spider Sense. That means you need to keep one of those as well. 4. I highly recommend going for Wall-Crawler after rolling straights. You did this once. 5. Don't chase Combo on Pyro unless you need 10+ to put her down at the end and she's already played NTT. I think you're better off either just taking anything else but Punch. Obviously both those games change with just a little bit of luck. But IME, the key is to reduce the luck needed with Spiderman because he doesn't have any obvious ways to win.

Thanks for posting. I think you read Pickpocket wrong. The "instead" means that one of the CP you gain can be from the opponent. So "instead" of getting 4 CP, you can get 3 CP and then Steal one. I've been playing this wrong, but watching the video, Beaver points that out and I just realized he was correct. I think you made one correctable mistake. You should have transferred Whither. Other than that, you just didn't get the rolls. ST needs to hit at least two large straights.

I believe at 57:50 Emungee could still have used accuracy on his attack phase. Accuracy is considered and instant action and even though Woody also used and instant action (Buy Bye), the tie-breaker goes to the active player (Emungee). Woody mentions 'the stack' but it doesn't work the same in Dice Throne as it does in MTG. The rule is clarified in the first paragraph of the Timing Conflicts section (page 15, v2.3).

Hey ! Good content, looking for competitive dice throne games to watch ! Wanted to say, maybe I'm wrong but at 41 min when you would had deal him large straight, you have to do all adds and substrats then divide or multiply effects. So it would have been 10 dmg from the large straight, -2 from the defense roll, then +5 from the sneak attack token, finally divided by 2 rounded up from the blinding light so : 10 - 2 + 5 = 13 13 / 2 = 6.5 rounded up to 7 (prevented dmg) 13 - 7 = 6 but he tooks only 5 But in facts it was a small straight heh Love what you do ! Have you got any other channel to suggest me to see good quality championship series ? GL HF !

Just a heads up at 1:22:24 I played "Twice as Wild" to get my Ultimate Ability but I did in fact not reduce my CP dial by 3. Apologies for the error! I'm just glad it wouldn't have affected the outcome in anyway but still good to recognize when I make a mistake so I can improve!
