We had our fun with the street stock for 3 races, but we've discovered that it was not as "race ready" as I was led to believe when I bought it. These things happen, it just means we gotta start our off-season a bit early.
After spending some time scaling the car we tried to get the gear swapped out for Mountain View Raceway (small track needs the 6.50) and couldn't get the axles back in. I had trouble the first time I did this too but got lucky and got them back in eventually. Didn't get as lucky this time, and after some measuring determined the Ford 9" rear-end housing is bent on the same side that I found the frame rail to be crushed in pretty decent.
