We also wear dosimetry badges for nuclear scintigraphy. AND I learned that your personal dosimetry reading is not your information. The company that you work for owns that information. So if you call say Landauer for your reading, they can’t release your numbers bc the practice paid for it. The practice owns that information. Ask me how I know lol

What part of the vtne is this on.
Dang I got all the questions except the last one. I said doxycycline🙃 great review tho I listen to them doing busy work at work lol. I graduated tech school in SOFLO in 2021 I’ve been living I fear of the VTNE for three years but my current hospital has recently pissed me off enough to motivate the tf outta me to gtfo and make more money.
Thank you so much for your video! I'm taking my VTNE tomorrow and have been taking practice tests and continued to get solution calculations wrong! I just struggled so much to break it down for solving. Your video helped me so get everything in the right place.
This is great ! I write my VTNE Aug 12/24 ! This is great review !!
mine is the 10th!! im soooo nervous!! its coming so soon
I'm pretty sure horses have more than 28 teeth.
You’re probably right. I don’t know anything about horses much less their teeth. How many do they have?
Thank you!! My VTNE is tomorrow and your videos are helping me review, it feels like chatting with a friend :)
girl, your videos are so helpful thank you but i cannot hear over this music :(
Maybe the music is loud on purpose to cover up my mistakes 😂
Taking the VTNE tomorrow. Thank GOD I found this video! :D
“Okay so that was fun” literally me 😂😂
Hi! I love your educational videos, I haven’t taken my vtne yet but is it possible or would you be willing to help me understand the flow of oxygen on an anesthesia machine please? Thank youuu
Literally you were such a big part of me passing the VTNE! Your videos are awesome !
Congratulations, I'm looking at working with animals and I'm considering working at a vets
I'm so mad that I just now found your channel- your videos are so helpful. I take the VTNE in 3 weeks and I am SO nervous. I feel like there's still so much I don't know.
It’s been 3 weeks now. How did it go?
How in the world did he get 50mg/ml from 5% 😢 I struggle with percentages
Girl, idk why do you think I had him do it? 😅
Hey, I know your comment was 8 months ago and idk if you still need help with percentages but if it’s a solution, so in this case a 5% solution that equals to 5 g/ 100 ml, you then convert the g to mg, there are 1000 mg in 1 g so you would multiply by 1000 mg, this is what that will look like: 5 g/ 100 ml x 1000 mg / 1 g = you would then get 5000 mg/ 100 ml, now you simplify, divide both sides by 100 then you would be left with 50 mg/ml.
Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I passed my VTNE first try and it's all thanks to you!!! You have a gift
🥹Ty. Great job 👏👏
I watched your video before my exam today and there were a few questions that were related to what you taught! I passed my exam and your video definitely helped 😊
💕💕good job!!
All the visuals were really helpful
Thank you so much for making this!!
Hi! I’m studying for the VTNE and wanted to know what book you got this information from; was it mccurnins book?
I got it from lectures I’ve heard from doctors and researching. I did not use mccurnins. My husband was in vet school at this time so I used his notes too.
Omg I had my vtne test today and passed on my first try. So excited thank you for all your helpful videos.
I’m so happy for you! 💜 congratulations 🎊
My cats like to do cat stuff
thank you so much for these… they still help 4 years later. ❤ i have 12 months of school left & am definitely referring these for help along the way.
Girl, your video got it all!!! I'm in the field and I'd definitely like to have you make more videos
Hello! Is there any apps or tips to study the instruments! I'm a vet student and I have a test on them
I know you haven’t had a comment here in a while but , passed ! And I watched your videos the past few days leading up to the exam. Just thought I would share that your videos still reach people
💓 thank you for your support and I’m so happy for your success!!
I’m so happy I came across your video literally 2 days before taking me VTNE! You explain everything so well and easy to understand! Happy to say I passed my VTNE today and your videos helped in a lot of that! Thank you!❤
Great job!! You’re going to be amazing💓
Hey, I love your content!!! My name is Nico and I am in my junior year of high school, I want to be a vet tech in the future and I'm wondering if a vet tech can have a specialty on top of the regular job, if so, then what are some of the specialties (examples being dentistry, Ophthalmology, etc.) and what does the school (training) look like? Thank you!!😁
Im obsessed with this question. So im actually going for my specialty in small animal internal medicine hopefully for 2023. The specialties are more like residencies for doctors. You’re not technically in school you just work in your specialty for however many number of years. Each one is different and then you apply and take a test. Internal medicine: 3yrs working in the field as a CVT or LVT and you have case logs and reports and a certain amount of CE to be able to apply. Each specialty is different so looking on their specific website would be the most accurate information.
Oh that’s so cool! How much does that change from your normal job? Do you work more hours or is it the same? Thank you 😀
niceee video
Just coming on here to say I love your videos and miss your content 🥲 They helped me tremendously when studying for my VTNE and i still come back to freshen up on some subjects. Do you have other platforms where you post more veterinary content?
I hate that I missed these comments! Thank you so much. I really want to get back into making videos but I’ve been super busy. I may be specializing soon so that’s something to look forward to.
Thank you. Thank you! I take my test December 15th this year and I am soooo nervous
You are great! Thanks for sharing! Im studying too.
5:40 the maxillary pm3 only has 2 routes but you mentioned it again and said it had 3 routes just a heads up
Thank you so much for the correction! 💜
@@vtneandbeyond9130 no, THANK YOU so much for making these topics easier to understand and helping me pass 😭. You’re a 🐐 for making this channel
I'm going to my working interview today and this made me feel so much better! Thank you🖤✨
How was it? Did you get the job!!?
Thank you so much for the videos! They are the perfect bite size to fit in after a long day at the hospital!
What you need to know (sorry for my spelling I'm taking vet assistant classes right now) 1. Be confident 2 general idea parisites prevention heartworm, flea try to know active ingredient but not required Heartgaurd Sentinel Tri heart ect - irimection should not be given to sheep dogs heartgaurd, tri heart no go Flees- Frontline ,(revolution for cats ) 4. Heartworm cycle test around 6 months -yr depends on clinic prepain per is 6-9 mths 5.Vaccine schedule -core vs non core vaccine when given dogs, cats 6. Know pulses, temp, respiratory rate for cats, dogs. 7. 7.
Thank u so freakin much
Thank you for these videos... they help the information make so much more sense! Since you didn't go to school either, did you basically just teach yourself from scratch from VTP? Because although I've been working as an assistant for 6 years, a lot of the VTP questions are things we've not dealt with in our small animal practice, so only a small percentage of VTP is from OJT knowledge. Can you tell me what your study sessions were like and what worked best for you? Each evening for about 2 hours, I just do VTP practice questions and write down any explanations I don't know... but I'd love to know what you did to study and if there is something better I could be doing! :) Thank you so much!
Hey! 💜 sorry for taking so long I don’t check on these as often as I should. Technically, I only used VTP. The best study style for me was Pomodoro, especially on weekends. I suggest you make friends with the doctors you work with- by this I mean ask all the questions, look up anything you don’t understand (google,TH-cam) and potentially work relief in an emergency clinic. I would bet the doctors you work with have books in the hospital you are currently at and they would be more than willing to let you read/borrow those books. I think the advantage that I had was that I worked in an internal medicine and emergency hospital. I basically have been surrounded by people in veterinary medicine since I was 18.
If you have thousands of hours of experience can you just take the test, or do you have to go to school for the CVT/LVT to take the exam?
As long as you have two years of experience and a doctor is willing to sign off on paperwork stating that you have completed all the required tasks. You can test through Wisconsin. The only caveat is that you cannot transfer your license to a different state that requires a two or four year program.
It’s very helpful for me 💛
Hello, very good video. sorry do you know any certified online course of ultrasound or radiography? Thank you so much
No. Im sorry I do not
studying for the VTNE and came across your video...the horse dentition I feel like is incorrect, my sources say adult horses average 40 teeth and the formula your provided equates to 44 teeth, right?...not 28
You’re probably right. I was studying and probably misspoke. Thank you for the correction!!
Thank you for clarifying this. I’ve been in equine practice for 13 yrs, finally getting around to the VTNE and I was REALLY trying to get my head around those numbers. Horses have 44 teeth.
0-3 mm periodontal depth is for dogs. 0-1 mm for cats 🐈 😻
Thank you 😊
Can you make a video about Pathology? Laboratory
I’m not entirely sure what you mean. I did not go to vet tech school so I’m not sure what labs are set up like for these programs.
@@vtneandbeyond9130 what school or program did you attend ur amazing
@@daniellewilliams6938 oh I didn’t go through any program, or schooling. I did on the job training-worked in gp(2yrs), er(+/-2yrs),sx(6mo), and medicine(2yrs). Thank you so much.
Dumb question but isn't an underexposed image darker than an overexposed one? My reasoning has been that overexposed means that the shutter was open too long (or higher mAs)
She has it right. I think of it as an oven - if its been over cooked, its burnt (too dark).
LOVE LOVE LOVE This!!
