Cena's story reminded me of an Indian Film with a similar context. Cena was the Fan and Rock was this famous actor. Later the Fan turned on his idol. An obsessive fan turned enemy.

Cena at least waited till his 40’s to start acting more & at least does part time wrestling. He also wrestled for over 15 years straight. Rock was young & still a major pop when he left, & he vanishes point blank. From his last wrestlemania 20 to his return to host wrestlemania 27 he was completely missing. Went full blown Hollywood. Then comes back to be put over the man on top? If things we’re reversed, how fucked up would it sound if Cena went Hollywood for years as the rock dominated, then Cena decided to come back & defeat the Rock at Wrestlemania?? Doesn’t sound right. Besides, Cena has also admitted that he was kind of ignorant to call out the Rock for leaving to become a professional actor. But Cena, who has 100 percent dedicated his life to WWE then now as he’s older decides to act, that’s not hypocritical.

@Edis Maric Kinda but keep in mind that Rock left for Hollywood when he probably still had a couple of great prime years left. Cena left to let others have an opportunity in WWE and kudos to him because he EASILY could’ve stayed in WWE and have a top spot. By the time Cena left for Hollywood, he was already (if not already) being replaced by Roman Reigns.

No he originally left in 2002 when he dropped the belt to Brock Lesnar at Summerslam. That's what cena's referring to.
