Jozillatv, thank you for the question and here's my answers based on over 20 hours of "Live" performance time on this particular guitar in addition to the hours at home totaling somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 hours of playing time on this guitar. The neck is a what I refer to as a "medium thin" neck...not too thin in "feel" but not "chunky" like a more "vintage" style design. It is a smooth-feeling, "easy to navigate" neck for me...but keep in mind...everyone's "feel and tastes" are different...and I personally don't "have a favorite" when it comes to neck profiles. It is relative to the guitar it is on...and what I am "trying" to get from that instrument. I haven't played a Fender Player or Fender USA telecaster in quite some time but I do own several older telecasters...from the early 1990's (both USA & Mexico) that are "slim profile" necks in addition to a Japanese-made "1968 Re-issue" that has more of a "boxy, chunky" style neck. I also own a 1950 Fender Broadcaster (not a "re-issue...but the "real thing" made on November 17, 1950 by Mr. Leo Fender) that has a very "chunky" neck. This AIO has a wonderful neck feel...fits my hands very well with its "matte finish"...and is extremely "playable and reachable" all the way up and down the neck. I hope this helps and thank you again for your question as these AIO guitars are simply a great "bang for the buck" as I also own several other AIO models...and all of them are "professional grade" instruments that I use both "Live" and in the studio. Thank you for your comment. The "Twin TM" along with the "Super Reverb TM" are designed to "shine at a louder volume"...not bedroom volume. As I own and use 3 TM's including the Twin, Super Reverb & the Deluxe Reverb, this "higher volume" usage is the "key" to using those amps. The FR-12 cabinet , when used with an amp simulator such as the Boss IR-200 and making sure the "Line Level" is correct to the cab, is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME...clean & loud! But...this is 100% DEPENDENT upon the simulator you are using. I hope this is helpful...and my tonal preference is the FR-12 over the FR-10;) My prayers to you, your family and friends... Thank you for these very kind words Brother Thomas as I sincerely I appreciate your time. Yes, I own both the Tonemaster Twin & Deluxe along with the Super Reverb too...and all wonderful amps that truly provide an extremely close replication of their "design" based upon their legendary "Tube" parents. I use the Twin (with my "Live" IR-200 based pedal boards similar to the board used in this video) with frequency "Live" in addition to the "Super Reverb"...and they both provide "excellent" tonal options and works flawlessly with the pedal. The "Deluxe Reverb"...although a wonderful sounding amp in addition to working well with the pedal board...simply does not provide enough "stage volume" that remains "clean"...and I mean "clean"...with no "dirt" in the signal unless I provide it. Keep in mind...a "Deluxe Reverb" is designed to begin "breaking up" around 4 to 5 on the volume knob which provides that "Deluxe Reverb" sound. But for me...I simply need "more stage volume"...direct from the amp...not monitors...as I play venues that are spacious most of the time in the Florida Keys. When I perform in a smaller venue...I have no issues using the "Deluxe"...but most of the time, I am playing those larger venues. All these amps are EXCELLENT "can't go wrong" amps...but this FR-12 cab is DESIGNED for the "MODELER/IR" handshake...and with it's 1000W single 12" closed back speaker design, it is simply the LOUDEST, CLEANEST, HIGH HEADROOM, FULL SOUND I personally have ever experienced out a single 12" cabinet...and therefore fits my "Live" needs perfectly. It sounds INCREDIBLE...as do the amps. It handles the IR-200 based pedal platform PERFECTLY...and at this point...with now over 200 "LIVE" hours of performing on it...I am still simply "amazed" that I look back..and it's not a TUBE amp but SOUNDS like one...a testimony to it's "translation thru design" in addition to the quality sounds provided within the Boss IR-200. I have 2 FR-12's in addition to the 3 Tonemasters...and ALL are WONDERUL as I am PERFECTLY COVERED from "SMALL to BIG"...without EVER SACRIFICING THE PURSUIT of TONE.
