I put Artec's contact pickup A1-OSJ on the body and played with the reverb of the amp. I like it. This picks up the sound of touching the body and neck well, so play carefully.

@@ut1ry Greetings from the US (some of us are still good guys) I came back to listen to your sad mournful tune again and another look at your guitar. I love the look of the tiger stripe/tortoise shell binding along the body and neck on the guitar. Don't like the white binding at all, which is what most models have. Republic guitars just got a shipment of miniolians in and they have your model and the natural color flame maple guitar. I love them both, but I'm leaning more towards the all natural model. I will probably leave it all acoustic, as these guitars are naturally louder and I live in a small place. I'll probably just play in the style you did in this video. You can make some beautiful sounds just by mistake!! One last thing. What tuning are you using? It can make a difference! I'll let you know what I think after playing it a bit. @savagemako17 Thank you for your reply. I am glad that you got the guitar you were looking for. I also like my guitar bindings. The problem is that it is difficult to see the position mark on the neck side. So I wrote it big with a pen! The song played in this video is based on Ry Cooder's Paris, Texas. He was probably referring to Blind Willie Johnson playing Dark was the night. I imagined that he was playing in open D (or open Dm). I play this song and most of the songs on a guitar tuned to open G. (To avoid confusing changing tunings between songs in a live performance or carrying multiple guitars) And depending on the song, I use a partial capo to play. One example is the Kyser KG3SA Short-Cut. When worn from above the neck, it presses only the 5th, 4th, and 3rd strings without pressing the 6th, 2nd, and 1st strings. When installed on the 2nd fret of open G tuning, it becomes D-A-E-A-B-D (6->1). I use this to play the D and A bass notes. Hope these help you!
