Actually, the A350 also has a regional Business Class, which is the same as the one on the 787-10-both have the 1-2-1 staggered layout with fully flat beds. But for long-haul flights, the A350 uses a completely different Business Class product with wider seats, more privacy, and extra features designed for longer journeys. Have you tried both versions yet? The difference is pretty noticeable!

You should ask a pilot, but here is what I think. After the initial takeoff roll and rotation, the engines are typically at full takeoff thrust to ensure the plane reaches a safe altitude quickly. But after climbing to a certain height, pilots reduce the thrust slightly as part of a noise-abatement procedure (to reduce noise impact on nearby areas) or to transition to a climb thrust, which is lower than takeoff thrust. Shortly afterward, as the plane continues to climb, the engines may throttle up again to adjust for the aircraft's speed and climb rate. In other words, the throttle reduction and then increase are all part of managing the aircraft’s performance and meeting noise regulations.

If you are going between Singapore and Taipei recently, they have changed the plane from A350 to A321 because of their new Seattle Flight. It is a bit disappointed but it is undertstandable. Still very good products!

@@DJPaulgee1 Amazing sharing. They definitely deserve to be ranked world no.8 by Skytrax. From food to service they have all done pretty well. But some of the planes are aged such as the A330-200 which they were all retired this year, the remaining A330-300, A321ceo, and 777-300er. But the new A350-1000 and A321neo which will be delivered from 2026 to 2032. It is definitely worth waiting and the hardware will also improve alot!

@@JuJuElephanta I think their ranking should be higher than 8. It's a shame to learn that they will be retiring their fleet of 777-300ER's as these were the planes I flew on. The Airbus A350 is just as nice though. I found Eva Air have much more fairer prices than most other airlines, I would even rather spend my money on Eva Air than British Airways.
