Thank you Father, for giving us our prophet Russell M. Nelson, and not forgetting us. Thou art the same yesterday, today, and forever❤❤❤
I'm grateful that he loves us enough to give us a mouthpiece here on Earth.🫂🙏🏻🕊
THAT'S some great courage🥰💪🏻🙏🏻🕊🌟
That was the devil love not the Holy Spirit
Amen
Awesome! Going to be SO helpful for next year!!!
This episode, closing out our study of the Book of Mormon this year, is perfect. The insights, the testimonies, and the joy shared by everyone is so motivating. Thank you!
This podcast is a wonderful resource for all seeking to supplement their personal scripture study and for those teaching the come follow me curriculum (i.e. Sunday School teachers), especially as the podcast provides questions that will engage all students and facilitate discussion in all class and group settings.
Thanks for that feedback! Our greatest hope is that it is helpful in both personal and classroom settings :)
Excellent💜💪🏻 and I can relate somewhat🫂
Our growth comes from hard things, AND you must've been an effective "seed planter" in our Lord's vineyard 🌿🌾 What a testimony builder when you ACT on faith🙏🏻👍🏻
I’ve just started watching this podcast - in fact it had only been two weeks and I just loved it. I love the testimonies, the people in your audience opening up to their experiences and your wonderful guests. Just a variety of- I love it. ❤️
So glad you're enjoying it! And thank you for sharing ❤️
Excellent discussion. Thank you.
I couldn't agree more. This is the type of thing that we learn from president Nelson as well. He is the most unifying Prophet we've ever had. Thank you for this👍🏻🙏🏻🕊
❤🎉🎉❤
Found in the Come Follow Me teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: In the darkest times, Christ's love and strength lift us up, giving us hope and comfort. His unwavering mercy and sacrifice remind us that we are never alone. Embrace faith and let His light guide your path. Other Thing, I amazing, When Ben Lomu asked the blonde girl if she knew the Holy Ghost, she responded, "He is my friend." Just as Aaron and Hur supported Moses by holding up his hands during the battle against the Amalekites, the Holy Ghost is there to support and uplift us in our own struggles. I believe in her experience, as His presence provides strength, guidance, and comfort, reminding us that we are never alone in our battles.
Indeed, we never have to be alone ❤️
While reading Mormon 3:16 - I was struck by his comments - ... that I utterly refused to go up against mine enemies; and I did even as the Lord had commanded me... This means so much to me right now - in the turmoil going on in the world today - Be Peacemakers - Love your enemies - Let God prevail - Thanks for this show -
Amen!
Wonderful testimony sister Judy . Thank you.
dang, the 2nd to last chord in the outro music is pretty crunchy
Anger can lead to regret and broken relationships, but choosing love and peace brings lasting happiness. President Gordon B. Hinckley reminds us that being slow to anger is better than being mighty. Just as charity, the pure love of Christ, transforms us, replacing anger with words of love, appreciation, and respect can change our hearts. This message is part of our Come, Follow Me study this week from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints-let’s strive to control our tempers and create a world filled with kindness and understanding
This is a beautiful insight, thank you for sharing!
I forgave a man who I love ( yet had to divorce), who tried to kill me in a drunken schizophrenic rage. The forgiveness was extremely healing for both of us and for our children.🙏🏻 This forgiveness took many years but through honest searching prayer, God began showing him to me with HIS eyes. Years later he got lung cancer and died but I was able to sit with him in the hospital and have compassion for him. It was then that I felt the gift that true forgiveness brings. 🎀R.I.P.
It sounds like this was an incredibly strong experience. Grateful that God grants us a higher view when we'll have it.
What a beautiful story. The scripture that came to my mind when I heard your story was "beauty for ashes" (Isa. 61:3). I've never thought of that applying to our relationships before, but that's the power of the pure love of Jesus Christ!
💜💜💜
Love it! 💜

This is exactly how people can view the church. There's nothing wrong with the map or the church it's about the bumps in the road or "bumpy" individuals that are inevitable. We don't throw out the map and we don't throw the church out of our lives. Because those are the two things that give us the direction we need to get to our destinies. 🚗🗺🙏🏻🏩
My granddaughter helped me through my “husband’s”passing. He passed in March and helping my son with her over the summer was the only way I made it through.

MUCH more valuable, and evil people can't deface it or tear it down👍🏻🙏🏻🕊
The Light of Christ guides us to discern truth from error, illuminating our path to salvation. As taught in Moroni 7:12-19, it influences our conscience, helping us choose right over wrong and bringing us closer to Jesus Christ. Embrace this divine light and let it shine brightly in your life, bringing you peace and clarity.
Thank you💜 I've donated, assisted, and also been helped by our wonderful program at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It's DEFINITELY inspired by Jesus Christ as we bring in our tithes and best efforts, and all are cared for INCLUDING many non-members around the world and locally.. ALL of God's children🫂🙏🏻🕊
Thanks for sharing your personal experience with these programs! It truly is beautiful :)
I love this message ❤️ it makes me cry with knowing that we follow his example he loves us all
Yes because everyone is an important daughter or son of God👍🏻
Just listened to her and her husband’s absolutely incredible stories in sacrament meeting. Having been born and raised in the church, I have grown up just taking it for advantage. I haven’t had to fight my way up from an abyss. Conversion stories like theirs are truly miraculous. True strength here.
They are really amazing people.
Sounds like a Spirit-filled man👍🏻🕊🙏🏻
People have the freedom to CHOOSE to mock God if they want, but how many of those mockers have obeyed Father (in Heaven) and died for humanity so that they all have the choice to return HOME if they choose? ••••crickets••••• I'm thankful for our Savior's love. 🪻🫂🌷🙏🏻🕊
Repentance is a cleansing covenant communication with Jesus Christ. What could be more beautiful? 🌼🪷🌴🪻⚘️
ABSOLUTELY! I've always told people that the best counselors have LIVED in difficult life situations. The book learned counselors all know what they learned in the text books but they can't relate. The REALLY EFFECTIVE counselors had real life experiences and they are the ones I have most confidence in. Just like Jesus Christ can succor his people because he has felt every pain and sin and temptation🙏🏻🕊
I'm doing my best to show as much empathy as I can, but I'm really struggling right now because my home ward overall seems unable to reciprocate. There's one extended family in the ward that exudes it, but the rest seem dumbfounded, stymied, and unable to relate to anything I or my little family is dealing with. My wife and I have been attending the neighboring ward for a year because there is fellowship to be had there, but none in the home ward. Home ward leadership is completely indifferent to my struggles, to my family's struggles. Our eldest child had enough and basically stopped attending any meetings. Before anyone tries to reply "just serve more, just this, just that.." please don't. We tried everything for over 15 years, but it just got worse. Maybe the problem is mine, maybe my family's. I understand it's a possibility. It's very lonely. The neighboring ward we attend is very welcoming, very loving, but we aren't able to officially serve any of them. Our temple recommends have lapsed as the individual members comprising the current bishopric has broken any and most all of the trust we had in them. It's very discouraging.
I wish I had the proper words for you. I understand so deeply the feeling that you're doing everything possible and still things get worse. If you are doing everything you can, and it really sounds like you are, then you're doing enough. You still have your family that can lean on each other and that is so beautiful. Maybe the "weak thing" here is the your home ward, and what will become strong is your family. I don't know all the details, obviously, but I hope you give yourself as much empathy as you're giving others. Just because things are going bad doesn't mean you're doing something wrong. The Savior did nothing wrong ever and He had the worst time ever. You are an incredible person and leader to your family. You've probably heard it a million times, so I won't try to pass it off as profound, but, truly, things will get better. I am a firm believer in you get what you give, and you will get all the love you have tried so hard to give to others
Sorry that this has been your experience, but thank you for being open about it and sharing.
Well spoken young man. There's still hope in the world with people like him.
My depression made it difficult for me to have hope in the past as well but a good Bishop suggested that I start a gratitude Journal. I made a list of three to five things each day that I'm grateful for and when I started counting my blessings, a little more peace and hope were added upon me 💪🏻🙏🏻🕊🫂
Thank you, Tanner, for articulating so well the hope and faith those of us with mental illnesses desperately need.
Our innate weakness, our human-ness, is the gift that can enable us, as we acknowledge that we're incomplete (not perfect), to rely on our Savior to become "complete" -- to become perfect.
Yes, we need more of this!! Otherwise perfectionism and scrupulosity becomes an issue
7:20 "I think more often how it happens is you have to jump, and then the net will appear." ❤️ 😊 I know this, and I truly believe it, it's just so hard when there is no real clue physically beforehand that things will work out how I feel impressed they will be. 😮💨
It really is difficult. The words of Nephi come to mind: "I know in whom I have trusted." Trust in man, plans, and things can fail. But trust in God cannot.
Thanks for the insights ❤ about Father in Heaven GIVING us weaknesses.
That was put beautifully ❤
That's exactly the way it happens to me over and over. Hanging in there with the Holy Spirit is worth it! 🫂💜🙏🏻🕊🎀
Sharing His light is a year-round goal. This time of year is just the prettiest time🎄🎀
