You can't fire coaches after the playoffs anymore. You have to fire them the day after signing day. Teams need a much portal time as possible to deal with the fallout. Ryan Day isn't getting fired with a 37 million buyout and a 20 million dollar roster

Michigan plays all season like they did vs NW, they’re 8-3/9-2 going into The Game. But here’s my positive take: Michigan likely doesn’t get Underwood or dive into the NIL game if they played that well since there wouldn’t be this desperation as there is now IMO

As far as Michigan recruiting looking great right now, any concern that some players could leave if a post-season ban gets imposed by the slow-moving NCAA? NCAA just granted Michigan officials a 30-day response extension on 11/25 to the "Notice Of Allegation" received 3 months ago for the still un-resolved "cheating scandal." Won't this extension request by U of M make a resolution take even longer with nothing able to be settled for several MORE months? Are recruits even aware this is ALL 100% still pending? because depending on the final ruling, I bet some top athletes will choose to leave Michigan if the team becomes ineligible to play in the post-season the next few years! Could players end up only getting a small portion of promised NIL $$$; be forced to give back $$$ and be hit with messy legal action if an unfavorable ruling comes out and players start leaving this program?... Could all get rather messy for donors; fans and especially potential recruits. 😞 Just VERY concerned, and I don't think we have near enough answers at this point with zero resolution in the "advanced in-person scouting scandal"; no one can confidently move forward; I feel there could be a mass exodus of recruits and doesn't this extention only prolong knowing just how severe these sanctions/consequences may end up being?

If Bryce wanted to go to Michigan, felt slighted, and it took a great deal of trouble to get him back to play for Michigan, it speaks volumes about his character. He sticks to his moral compass, and won't change his mind until others put in effort to change it. If he's always wanted to play here, I think he'll do better than he would have down south. He lives a few miles from me, and I'm not far from the Big House. Having a high level of comfortability will create an even higher level performer, as he's from this area. I'm cool with the season; what could one expect, aside from a chaotic qb issue. The rest of the team is really goddamn good; just need a tweak or two. Warren was spectacular (almost), and this Marshall player - and two others - give me hope for the future. As for people thinking Sherrone is only a one year coach, Jim unfortunately took all but the kitchen sink... especially the trainer Herbert. It may be an unimpressive season, but we'd be saying much different things, had he a chance to get a good qb. By the time Jim decided to leave, the recruiting was practically over. 💛💙🏆👊

Sherrone Moore alone must bear the mantle of responsibility for promoting pretty much the most unqualified anything to a full coordinator's position. Not only was it a huge rookie? Miss q as a head coach, it shows decision-making when he explained it because people could see what was underneath it. That's the problem, and he can't back out of it because he's under contract and can't afford to breach contract by not letting him bring his [um.] "game" - the game he never had to begin with... because he was only a position coach. He wasn't even a line coach, which would have been at least better from the standpoint he would have had more talent exposure and would have actually had a playbook. He was the QB coach, that's a one-dimensional focus. That's the cluster "f" that everybody sees, but nobody talks about what is [effectively] the 9k lbs. elephant in the room. Bryce Underwood coming to michigan is not gonna have to impact people thinking it does - Michigan missed a bowl. The very next season after winning a national championship. Don't think that that will not have weight on the mind of the. NIL pursuers And portal jockeys I love my wolverines, but they flubbed it big time this year. .. In all of that, you still got a stand back in what more do his thing because he came out from under Jim who is a cult of personality coach... that's a lot to deal with and still try to establish your own identity they least gotta give him that slack.

Why would Harbaugh endorse Sherrone as head coach at the University of Michigan? If there’s anybody who would know if a guy is ready to take over one of the biggest brands in college football, you would think it would be Harbaugh.

Have you guys listened to Steve Deace’s take on Sherrone Moore? It makes sense and I think he’s probably spot on.

I'm very pessimistic that Jadyn Davis is the starting QB next year, because he took zero snaps this year. I'm sure he will compete, but I think Michigan will be adding two QBs after the season. If they land Underwood, they could also seek to flip another QB like Malik Washington who is the #5 QB in the 2024 class committed to Maryland. If they miss on one of them, they will bring in a more proven QB like Miller Moss or John Mateer as a transfer. Either way, Michigan will have much better options next season! #GOBLUE
