Amazing bike out of the box, so far I’ve upgraded the brakes and changed various parts to my liking. Really tempted to now take it all apart and build a really custom version.

are the pegs steel or alloy. I think we're from the same era. building a new bike with thr most recent parts and it's all lite af.

I had the og back in 1990, I think. It was quite a bit different with holes in the chainstay near the dropout, to screw pegs into. I used to worry that it would brake there but it never did. It was the first master since 1984 without the crazy framestand dropouts as well which was nice. It's nice to see it live again.
Had a mate had a haro freestyler in white. His parents had to travel to Manchester to buy it, over three hours drive - each way! Nowhere local sold anything like it at the time.

Fun video. Thank you for the tip about lacing the front brake cable. The only thing that bike needs is pegs.

I remember wanting my parents to buy me a HARO back in the late 80's. I clearly remember that beautiful lime green BMX hanging on the rack in a local bike shop...

Just wondering why someone who can afford that gorgeous frameset wouldnt bother installing original/repop parts and fit midschool stuff?
Hi Ash, it’s a new school Haro Lineage frame with new school components. If it was an original 84 the only way to go would be era correct parts.

Nice build pal, love the chrome flatland. How do you find the black brake pads on those rims? With clear pads they stop well but no matter how well they’re set up are louder than a duck pond at bread time!! Never have that issue with other chrome rims so looking for a good solution that still stops well for flatland
Hi mate, Duck noises present even with the standard pads. I need to take them off and try and rough them up with sand paper, apparently that works? 🙌🏻
@@robs_questionable_hobbies yeah it’s worth a try, done it a couple of times but without much joy, maybe coarser sandpaper needed 👍

Thank you Nial! A lot of stuff came from gopedtuning in Germany. Helps to due a bulk order as postage can be expensive. Decals I had made by a friend.

As a freestyler from the 90s that bike looks ready to ride
I grind the exhaust port outlet as round as possible and fit polini expansion chamber on my mini dirt bike with same engine bit it has to be twister at connecting point at the end of header so sticks out of the side, must faster but unusable! Someone will be able to make one fit with a welder etc, worth a few bhp.
Looks good, but why on earth can't someone make an exhaust with a squared cross section header?! The exhaust port outlet on cylinder is rectangular , but the exhaust header is round and the CS area is half that of exhaust port!
Hello, i just bought one of these used. How can i tell what number mine is? I know they only made 350 of them but how do i know what number mine is? Thank you :)
From memory the frame number is underneath the down tube near where the decal ends. 👍
