Yes the lithium is a game changer for us, well worth the cost. We bought the equipment ourselves and van2dormobile fitted it all. We have since added a second lithium battery and upgraded to a 3000w inverter.

No problems at all. We have added a second battery and changed the inverter to 3000w so there isn’t much we can’t run now. I like my luxuries in the winter such as electric blanket and one for the dogs, we have a projector running in bedroom and tv in lounge and generally we don’t drop below 80% battery capacity overnight. Also use microwave, hairdryer etc. We can easily manage 4 days off grid in winter without having to move and now the weather is picking up for the solar we will last a lot longer. I am a bit greedy on power but that’s my choice so we’ve set up the van accordingly.

I was trying to film whilst nobody was in sight. They were dotted about.

We have 2 lithium batteries and the inverter under the seat. And the victron gear in the overhead cupboard.

@@thetravellingtaffs And the original Transformer/rectifier was replaced by victron or you still have both of them installed? (The original transformer/rectifier is/was located in the box under the 5th spare seat). Thank you

Tricky one, some people love to see the scenery when driving, some hate it. I didn’t use time lapse I speeded it up when editing. Maybe I should try shorter clips at proper speed. Thanks for the comments though 😀

Yes it came down pretty quickly, luckily only for a few miles, but it did look beautiful. Where we live in West Wales we don’t see a lot of snow, so it was a novelty 😃

It was such a beautiful drive. We will definitely go back, probably September or October time when it’s not busy but the weather a little better, not that the weather stopped us but as you know harder to capture on a camera or drone in wind and rain
