I rented at the same location you will be renting at for my 2nd motorcycle rental where I rented a Ninja 400 and rode towards Mt Fuji. It was all covered in clouds, though, due to humidity.

I'm a resident here and the algorhythm was kind enough to drop your video on my homepage. Perhaps not by coincidence as I'm going to be renting the same bike/color from the Hachioji Rental819 location next week for a ride through the Kanagawa mountains. Hope you're having/had a blast on the roads here with the Ninja. Edit: To answer your question about waving, it doesn't happen here since our throttle hand is occupied by virtue of riding on the left side of the road. There's also no culture of nodding/alternative greeting while riding since bikes & scooters are an everyday commuter tool used by all ages, and extremely commonplace as opposed to the US (where bikes are toys/luxury items and riding is a subculture).

Glad your okay..Sucks that happened. I think bike didn't start because the tip over sensor probably got triggered. I think the sensor is in front under cowl, by headlights

Glad your ok. Full gear is so important. Lowish speed incident like that, image light jeans and t-shirt and trainers (sneakers), Would have had a lot of road rash and maybe a bad ankle too. I am going back to rider in the spring after 30 years and I plan to have full gear and an airbag vest even for the shortest of rides. Stay safe.
