Just watched your same video from a year ago. Cool to see the update side by side and the space looks lovely. We are also a no homeschool room family and stay set up next to our kitchen/dining table. Appreciate seeing other spaces like mine!

Hey Kassidy! My husband actually built these and we purchased the brackets from Amazon! Believe it or not they were a lot cheaper building them then ordering because of the size we needed to fit this space! Let me know if you'd like the links for the materials we used like the brackets, stain choice, etc and I'll gather those for you!

Do you use the good and the beautiful curriculum for all subjects or just for math and science? I want to use the language arts curriculum from the good and the beautiful when my son is appropriate age to start using it right now he is only 2 years old. But I am going to start using the preschool from them when I think he is ready to start it he might be 3 or 4 years old when we start the preschool curriculum with him, we will just have to wait and see.
That's awesome! We use them for Math, Language Arts, Science, and Handwriting. For History we use The Playful Pioneers from The Peaceful Press😊
I’ve seen some not so great reviews about it. However, I’ve been using it and don’t see an issue with it. I’ve looked at at her things but always come back to The Good and the Beautiful. Waiting on levels 1 and 3 to arrive. I have 3 homeschooled kiddo’s and decided to stay with what we’re doing. 😊😊
Where have you used the sparks and stars audio narration? I don't see it where the fields and flowers or wind and waves audio narration is at. For example: Force and Motion
Once purchased you go to the homeschool app and it'll be under the Science for Little Hearts and Hands section with the others!
If it’s only 30 lessons what do you normally do for the rest of the year? Or do you spread it out to last the whole school year? I’m very new to this, so trying g to understand how to fit this into our school days. Is it once a week?
Thank you for being here, Sarah! So sorry for my late reply as I just recently had twins! To answer your question, we do one lesson per week over the course of 30 weeks! The nice thing about these science books is that you can do them however you'd prefer to fit your homeschool model! The Good and the Beautiful have this version along with two other versions so you could use more than one if you wanted to do more than a lesson per week! For us we do science on Fridays because that's our "fun" day of the week and it gives my kids something to look forward to each week with the experiments/activities! Hope that helps, and I'm here if you have anymore questions!
Hello, I am still new trying to figure this out. Our 1st year would be the school year coming up. My daughter is 5 going to kindergarten. I have a few questions. If I order the kindergarten packages is that enough for the whole year? How does it work and does it come with directions on what order we do the lessons. TIA
So sorry I am just seeing this Amber! I recently delivered twins and it's been a busy month ☺️🥰 As far as your question I would recommend taking the placement tests first before purchasing any packages! You can find this right on TGTB website.. We actually started our daughter with the Kindergarten prep course (where she tested on the placement test) and completed that and the Level Kindergarten in the same year! Typically we only do one level per school year though as there are 120 lessons, so plenty to cover in one school years time allowance. As far as how the lessons work, I love the way they are laid out. Each lesson is in order and it's open-n-go style! So no prep work and directions are super clear. I will be posting a video soon going over the Core curriculum books for Language Arts and Math! Hopefully that answers your question, and I am here if you have anymore questions!! ☺️
Hey, glad I found your channel. I have a child that is supposed to be going into third grade next year with an IEP and current reading level of about 1st grade. I also have a coming first grader and a kindergartner who is supposed to do kindergarten again next year with because he’s behind in math, but his reading is great. I purchased some workbooks and things to focus on the weaknesses this summer. Really thinking about homeschooling and trying to learn as much as I can. I’m really interested in The Good and The Beautiful. Thanks for being here.

We do school year round so we can keep up those skills in the summer months, just tend to take it a bit lighter in the summer. I've seen a huge difference in my 8 year old since doing so... Next year we will not be continuing either it, but my first year of homeschool we used level 7 of the Language Arts for my Daughter and she did well with it. It was challenging but not overwhelming. The Good and The Beautiful saved me while we have learned to transition from public school to homeschool. I am so thankful for it!💗🙏🏼
My oldest will be doing level 5 in Aug. He’s excited for the water coloring.

Before we got our space, i had one tool box. Best freaking i ever did! I was able to lock my things (with littles) and keep them organized. It worked with bright colors for our future space!

We homeschool at our table as well, I have a small counter/cabinet area that I have all of our stuff at however I am planning on tearing it all out and redoing it so it functions for us. I can't wait to get that started!
