he doubletaps, 1 key activates on downstroke and other key activates on upstroke, basically u can singletap streams on one key where u toggle both down and upstroke to count as an input moral of the story, buy wooting

Ngl lots of osu players on this front bother me like isnt DT a difficulty modifier you apply to whatever song to make it more difficult than supposed to be a d you adapt to what that is. I dont think back then they had 'simple DT aim farm' back then. The map shouldnt be madefor DT Im low skill so what do I know. Way better than me but I feel one should learn DT bursts, streams and that kind of stuff?

@@sarahbell180 some patterns become a lot harder than others would when switching from nomod to DT certain mappers know how to capitalize on this and make maps that keep a lot of comfortability even when DT is added. triples, bursts, linear aim, any form of slider aim are pretty uncomfortable on DT from experience and make the map harder without providing much higher of a sr/pp gain (better with the new changes though) this would have players when discovering the dopamine of gaining rank, only seek out maps with these specific criterias (myself included), and they were ranked often and very popular until recently where they began to stray away from ranking those kind of sets 24/7 as you can see from the video, there is more variety now in the ranked section. people tend to be overdramatic these days and think only tech maps/edgy maps are being ranked but as you can see, aim maps are still very prevelant but with more variety (more aim control, alt, etc). and in terms of patterning they don't all cater for dt farm comfort. whether this is a good or bad thing is up to you, but i like it personally and im much more inclined to check out and play new ranked maps recently and also yea, way way back then, DT comfort maps made for the sole purpose of farm didn't exist
