Probably still be able to go another 50k on those
Lol 😆 🤣 😂 thanks for the comment 👍 😀
That's crazy!
Indeed it is. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
They look like a pretty cheap pair
I think they most definitely are. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
This was not staged!
Spark plugs don’t have to warm up, they aren’t glow plugs
Unfortunately this tip is floating around way too much cuz I took my snap ring off and I still can't get the new or the old axle install it gets hung up on the bearing not the clip.
It can be tough sometimes to get the snap ring back in without everything lined up properly. It may take a few tries. I honestly don't know why you took it off, though. Normally, a new axle comes with it pre-installed. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀 and good luck with the axle
Put that up on a bench and make it easy on yourself! Never work on the floor...
I only had my small tripod. But I definitely hear that. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
It’s the Brain Damage version for me 😂😂😂
Nice! 😀 thanks for the comment 👍 😀
Been there 😂
It's a good time right? Lol. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
You already know
Definitely. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀

Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
What is this audio?
I found it by searching brake clean on the youtube audio library
Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
@@RepairProTips no prob
Sounds nice!
Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
😂😂😂😂
Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
Easy to take off and put on unless the last gorilla broke em then yeah pain right in the arse and get left in the trunk
Theft determent all it is
I don't see how they are much of a deterrent. While not easy to get off, they are just plastic caps. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
@if a thief was to take a Quick Look he would think he needs a torques bit, customer of mine has a 2018 vw Tiguan worked effectively as a deterrent as they were only able to break the plastic caps and seen there were regular lug nuts he left presumably to get the right tools , from the camera it looked like he only had a ratchet and a scissor jack so I would say it’s some sort of deterrent if your not too knowledgeable that it’s just a plastic cap
That logic makes sense to me. And thieves are usually not the brightest. Thanks for that info.👍😀
Are you sure it’s OK to take off the positive terminal while the cars running?
On most normal cars, yes. If the alternator is working, it will stay running. I suppose if you went and grounded out the positive terminal It may cause some issue. It's best to practice common sense, however, when approaching tasks such as working on a vehicle. So if you are unsure, it's best not to do something until you are. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
Rats and mice will do that, Fun Fact new cars rubber hoses have SOY mix into the rubber and rats/mice will eat it and you will have to replace the lines with metal ones or before they start they sell spice tape 😂😂😂 and you can rap the rubber hoses with it.
Omg i did not know that such stuff even exists. I figured it was mice. Thanks so much for the info and the comment 😀
Damn rodents
Are you people that stupid you can't figure it out it's like playing with my brother's kids they don't have none dumbass 🤠
Those tools come in clutch for that kind of caliper. Nice video.
It's absolutely the easiest way. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
That's how that's done? Never knew
That's the easiest way. There are others, but they are more frustrating than efficient. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
What rotor removal happened here?
You most likely read the link to another video i had attached to this one. Thanks for your comment 👍 🙂
Gotta hand thread it in, gonna strip it using an impact to thread it in if you catch it on an angle
Not a bad idea. I appreciate it. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
Cool❤❤❤
Not all rotors have this option, but I take advantage of them when I can. It's easier than swinging a hammer. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
No
Elaborate? Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
Looks like you didn't even need the gloves
Lol, thanks for the comment 👍 😀
Malibu
Correct
Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
Nice!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! 👍 😀
Useless. Dont waste your money and buy a proper one. If the piston has been pushed anywhere close to hallway out or more, this becomes useless.
While I respect your opinion, there are many actual needs for the tool in the field, depending on what type of vehicles you are working on. Multiple piston calipers and opposing piston calipers this tool makes this task much easier. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
Nah still works fine
Now THAT is slick! I welded up a seriously heavy duty "C" clamp just for doing my truck brakes but I would've done this if I had thought of it. Thank you for this!❤
You can get them on the jungle app. This one happens to be a bluepoint one from snapon dealer. On the cheaper ones it's a good idea to stick a used brake pad in between the piston and the press so you don't over extend the tool. The bluepoint one has longer threads, so I rarely need to do that on most passenger vehicles. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
C clamp also works very well for single piston and honestly is significantly faster than the tool you’re using.
I know. This was just a demonstration of how that tool works. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
OK on dual pots but pump pliers all day on singles.
I agree. I was just using this as a demonstration of how the tool works. I use channel locks like prob 90 percent of the time. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
Open ur brakefluidcap before u push them back
Thanks for the tip. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
C clamp for 40 years
C clamp works fine. The video is to demonstrate how to use that particular tool. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
C-clamp works better
So does channel lock pliers. It was just a demonstration of how to use the tool. Comes in handy when dealing with multiple piston calipers. You are correct, a c clamp and block of wood work well. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
Not on modern calipers with electric motors in them for the park break ... a c clamp will damage the motor housing
Heck yeah!
I use it quite often. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
I bet that works great on dual piston calipers! 👍
It does. And it will work on others as well. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
I wish I knew how to do stuff like this. I'm certainly learning a lot about working on cars from your videos. Thank you😊
This was my first timing chain. I've done a lot of timing belts but never a chain. Glad I'm helping you learn. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
It’s your fault for getting Duralast Gold instead of the regular Duralast. It’s Gold because it comes with extra 😂👍
I guess I should have gotten cheaper ones. But then I would probably be a pad short. Lol. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
Easier way is to remove the manifold because you need to get to the back plugs as well
I suppose if you're doing all the plugs. But if I'm not mistaken, I've done all six without having to remove the intake. I do, however, have skinny, long arms, which helps to access tighter spots. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
Haha
Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
For when you lose one.....?
Yeah, maybe. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
We just gave you an extra nugget chillllll lol
I wasn't complaining. It's always nice to have extra parts just in case. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
So where did you find that 5-wheeled car?
It's one of those new electric concept cars. Lmao 🤣 🤣. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
They know the inside piston caliper brake pad is going to get destroyed faster 🤣
Nice! It was a honda, I believe. I'm having a little trouble remembering. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
Nah man they're just hooking you up with more of that stuff that you're like oh I might use this one day but never do until the day after you throw it out
Yeah, definitely. That crap went right in the trash. Lol, thanks for the comment 👍 😀
The extra pad is for the spare tire. C'mon man!!! 🤔
That's right. I forgot we don't want that to roll away. Lol. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
That's part of the high-performance package. Lol 😂😂😂😂
These darn electric cars.lol 🤣🤣. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
Sweet idea! I'll have to try that next time!
It is not my idea to claim, but I saw it and tried it, and it works great! Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
It works!! Did it this week.
It's almost unbelievable how well it does work. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
