Thank you for watching!! Hope it helps in your art journey
Love the stream great work and thanks for the good luck ill update you in tomorrows stream
Shade 3 big balls and stack them onto each other. With two very tiny balls on the first ball and put a small narrow cone in the middle of the first ball below the middle of the two tiny balls . Long cylinders extruding on the sides of the second ball. Then add short cylinders attached to the first 2 long cylinders pointing slightly up. Now you have a snowman
Big balls 👍
Going for shortest stream world record speedrun lets goo!! :D
I can go much shorter 🔥
2 hours ago? F

0:28 AYO THOSE AIN'T WATER BALLOOONS LMFAOO especially that dude sucking the balloon... so freaky
Those are CLEARLY just water balloons
And one more important thing... “Comparison is the thief of joy” dont compare your progress to anyone but yourself. People learn at different speeds and its normal if you arent as good as or learn as fast as person X.
True! Tbh you can use comparison as a weapon to sharpen your skill, but it can also backfire and demotivate you instead - compare carefully
@@kooikoyume Yes in some things but in progress never because everyone learns at different speeds You for example are one of those guys who learn fast. Like the progress you made in one month was inhumanly good and you are clearly naturally very talented. Not that its a bad thing but many might look at your progress and think whats the point this guy got better than me in a month. Humans are good at being jealous when others success.
Literally just started an hour ago, zero experience, and also no idea at all on how to draw. I think my goal right now is to learn all the fundamentals. What motivates me to start? Insane Pinterest artworks. One day I'd be able to make one like those too, hopefully.. 😁
Let's goo!! Have fun on the journey
If someone asks me if you can learn to draw in half a year, I'll answer that it depends. Mainly on how quickly someone can use the knowledge they've acquired. It took me about +- 2 weeks to learn how to draw heads, but it wasn't until 2 months later that they started to resemble the ones in the references xd I started and I'm still at the stage of drawing using paper and pencil (digital is terra incognita for me, at least for now xd). One problem at a time. Digital makes it easier because you can easily compare the result of your work with the original and you won't get lost in the growing number of lines. However, I have a very useful piece of advice regardless of the learning method you choose, which is to show your drawings to others, preferably to someone who has more experience in it than you (in my case, it's my friend whose drawings inspired me to draw and at the same time became my mentor). Why? To quote Vesemir from Witcher 3: "Don't train alone, because you'll only reinforce your mistakes" and there are a lot of mistakes at the beginning, some obvious, but there are some where someone has to show you, because as you know, your own mistakes are the hardest to spot. How long does it take to learn to draw? I would say the average is +- 3-4 years depending on what you draw on (paper or digital) and what you want to draw, and there are a few options: realistic, semi-realistic, or anime/cartoon, the latter are easier because you can bend the rules a bit. So there's no point in comparing time, because drawing is not a race, unless it's with yourself from before.
0:55 “A COMMON MISTAKE ARTISTS MAKE IS-“ *excalart flashbacks*
Bro just straight up called me out, I’ve only been drawing basic shapes for a week 💀
Tbh if you don't lose motivation you can do it, but when you're getting bored and start to lose motivation it's time to draw what you like!
I love how you mark SUCKING its so goooood
Succ 👍
0:36 so if i hypothetically watched all of these ill become pro 🗣🔥🔥
What did I say in the beninging 🗣🔥🔥
@kooikoyume "just by watching this video you will n̶o̶t̶ get better at art"🗣🔥🔥
0:26 A man of culture, I see.
I can't tell if you refer to 🦶 / 🎈 but yessir either way
Forget about learning art, how about starting to draw. Man, some of the drawings I saw are so cool! Just could not start a drawing habit. I drew once everyday and managed to do 2 days, but thats just it. I can see the potential in learning to do illusttractions, heck, I already see the epicness of it from others. I Just Could Not Form The Habit! Realisticly, I aint gonna learn if I cant move up from Stage 0: Drawing. Lots of love, thumbnail is fire!
Yoo thank you Globex! I might need to think a bit for a better answer- might make a video for this. But for now I say if you want to go spartan mode, try to force yourself to draw everyday for ~2-3 weeks straight. That's around the time it takes for humans to form a habit, and also you'll probably see improvements by then which should motivate you. Goodluck!
can u tell me on what to suck?
Anything you want really! 😊
best video for me .thank for showing how to learn art
Thank you for watching, hope it helps!!
4:57 My verdict about references is that it's always better to use references when you find the right one. I dont think it's about "not heavily copying the reference", but about executing the original idea you had in your head. The emotions you want to express may or may not be exactly like the references, which is why it's important for artists to learn the fundamentals, such as perspective and structure, so that they can manipulate it until it looks the way they want it. Sometimes, you have this great idea but just cant find the reference for it. That's the creative challenge we have as an artist, to then execute that idea solely from our visual library, from our imagination. But apart from that scenario, it is always better to use references, and better yet: learning and implementing 3d software to create your own references
I have drawings on paper for about January 29 ago and I keep going searching for advices, and I found you videos and advices is one of best advices out there's so as my tributes I gonna given a like or even a subscribes,by the way English is not my Native languages so there's might be typo or wrongs sentences, but im going to say, Thankyou very muchs and Happy art journey everyones!
Thank you so much for watching! Have a great art journey
I'm at day 322/365 myself and this was a nice watch. It's funny that you suggest neglecting your fundamentals and "drawing boxes for a month" because that's what I did lol. I'm not a new artist, but I have quit and come back many times because I'd find these huge holes in my skills that I couldn't deal with, which were caused by missing fundamentals. This time tho, I forced myself to forget everything and start completely from scratch and build up brick by brick so I could fill the gaping holes before I fell in them later on. I live by my fundamentals because they ensure that I won't lose my mind later on because I neglected something huge. That being said, I do think you need a special type of insanity to draw lines and basic shapes for a month straight lmao
Thanks for watching! Constantly trying to improve your art is an arduous task indeed - good luck!
Hey just recently getting into drawing, was wondering what kinda drawing knowledge did you have going into this stream? Just trynna compare the knowledge I have or at least practice, because your drawing was very good imo
It's hard to estimate, but in 2023 I'd say I spent about ~10 hrs total for about a month to draw - before never touching my pen tablet until this journey started🫠
I don’t really have a goal and not any fav artists so what should I do
From another comment - you can look to anime/manga/comics to set as a goal as well. Literally any visual media that inspires your creativity can be your goal!
ngl, I really like the way you describe everything. Time to do the SUCK'NING
Goodluck with the suckening 🔥
Thank u this helped me so much on finding out how to improve. Man I love Fauna 💚💚💚
Thank you for watching and Man I Love Fauna too 💚🌿
Your video could not have come at a more correct timing, I started a few months ago with mainly shapes and while boring I knew it was needed and after that transitioned to drawing anime characters, I felt a bit guilty using tracing for practice to get a better understanding and muscle memory for proportions and lines but you made some pretty good points, and this helped me analyze my old art and what it lacked, while tracing is good for practice I really want to do my own original characters in the future. I started drawing mainly eyes then transitioned to the face and realized I suck at drawing bodies and insecurities made me bloat the face into the paper leaving little detail for the rest of the body and now im working on that as well. Thanks for the video it helped a lot! I`m also finding time to draw every day and when I feel burned out I take a break until my creativity kicks in again.
Thanks for watching! Awesome to hear that you've been constantly looking for ways to improve - all the best in your journey!
Freaky ahh art
🤨🤨🤨
37 AND REGLUS MENTIONED YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Reverse: 1999 enjoyers 🤝
Bro was up all night gaming. Hope you have a good rest Kooi Also gahdamn streamer luck is real
They listening in on me frfr
I've started only doing circles because I want to improve the way I use my whole arm. I do not know if this is a good idea, but I feel that is important because if I do not improbe my mechanical part it is gonna be difficult to improve. However, I am trying to draw something besides of that despite of the result, I've started drawing things of videogames. I would like tips, how can I notice that i am improving or if should I change something about my method
1. If you have objectives (tip #1 in the video) - the easiest way to assess whether you've improved or not is to see if your drawing has gotten closer to the art you've admired 2. Repeating tip #6 in the video - I think it's best if you train your fundamentals ALONG with drawing what you ENJOY. Don't focus too much on the "mechanical part" - as you will improve it as you keep drawing and get used to your tools
thanks for the great content!
Thank you Water Bottle!
750 hours in 6 months…… WHAT
This is inspiring <3!
Thank you so much Ryan! Good to see you doing well
Anime characters = anime girl titties. 😅
😏😏😏

Ayy thanks Dio!
1:09 "I KNOW THAT LINE"
I wonder who said that
The inspiration you gave me yesterday after watching this video is unbelievable. I hope this inspiration will be guiding me through all year and I will try my best for this to happen. Thanks a lot and I wish you also a good year and hope that your channel will grow a lot more, you deserve it
Thank you so much! All the best for your art journey, looking forward to the progress!!
THERE'S NO WAY YOU BECAME THAT GOOD THAT FAST WHAT
Thank you! As long as we study mindfully anyone can do it
💪
Totally possible. A lot of people just don't know how to learn, or just aren't confident enough. In my case Japanese. Best tip I learned, is to forget results, but instead savor the process' little increments.
hi, thank for the video but fist what app you use and what devide you use thank you
Thank you for watching! I'm using Clip Studio Paint - and Huion H950P (Pen Tablet) connected to Laptop
Your tutorial was super helpful!👍👍👍
Glad the video can help !!
the intro kinda reminds me of that art youtuber that posts shorts🤣🤣🤣🤣🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 "common mistakes artist makes" edit: 2:43 "artists to follow" damn that cooking part hits so hard😭😭 all i did was practice anatomy and figure drawings, never actually did any original art...this lead to me, burning out😔😔
Hopefully the video can help you in your art journey! Take it easy and dont burn yourself out, you got this!
I wanted to start a webcomic like Solo leveling
Nice goal! You can do it
