Kaler is a much better interpreter than those young 'big name' concert violinists. They all sound the same, but Kaler's artistry is unique and distinctive.

Совершенно негодная трактовка - это же не лёгкая немецкая танцевальная музыка. Прозвучало всё, как некая забава для избалованной европейской знати. Мне казалось, Паганини был прежде всего романтиком в музыке...и, конечно, куда более глубоким исполнителем - нежели нам его подают в таких вот трактовках...мне это напомнило Венгерова, который к Брамсу исполняет такую же негодную свою каденцию, желая малость оригинальности. Трактовка Леонида Когана с каденцией Соре сейчас мало кому доступна - многим не хватает мужества и самоотверженности, так присущей советской скрипичной школе.

Very nice performance. With right tempo and brillant violin sound in classical style of Kogan´s school. I´m very much pleasure to hear it. Trills in kadenza - glitters from the violin at the end. I heared this performence with great respect. And thank you very much for recording.
