improvement making compost
มุมมอง 56หลายเดือนก่อน
This is a 50 procent time reduction. Trying to reduce waste in a process that is turning waste(grass cuttings, animal bedding,..) in to value (high quality compost). #2secondlean #marketgarden #fixwhatbugsyou #smallscalefarming

The same can be done with a Streamdeck but my company does not have a Streamdeck. This software allows me to record mouseclicks and mouse movements and replay them again and again. #2secondlean #fixwhatbugsyou
stop and fix
มุมมอง 353 หลายเดือนก่อน
Stop is one of the hardest thing to do in lean. We always want to continue with our work. We need to produce. We don't have time to stop. Time is money. That's wrong. VALUE is money. By stopping and improving this process i make a better product with less struggle in less time. Now i spent less time on NON VALUE ADDED WORK and spent more time on VALUE ADDED WORK. #2secondlean #fixwhatbugsyou #m...

small improvement at the farm

we need clear access to tools so i'm making sure i dont put stuff in front of the tools. These pallets also allow me to give smaller tools a home.
waste or value?

i need some input about what is waste and what is value adding.
2 second lean improvement for transplanting

Super simple, cheap and it works for me. Using my wits, not my wallet.
Back to the basics
มุมมอง 166 หลายเดือนก่อน
Back to the basics, not 5s, not 3s but 2s: sweep and sort with a small touch of standardising. We had a few weeks of good weather so i invested all my time in seeding, planting, weeding,.. Now i need to catch up with the 3s again so i can keep everything looking premium.

Not sure where you live, Tim. But I recommend reading a book called, Sea Energy Agriculture, by Dr. Maynard Murray. While compost is great, it lacks 97% of the minerals that plants, fruits, vegetables need to reach their full genetic potential. Plants grown with 'Sea Energy Agriculture' are drought-resistant, frost-resistant, pest-resistant, and 100x more nutritious than traditionally-grown plants. Just a little 2-second improvement that I use everyday. It's a game-changer. While Dr. Murray is gone, his successor, Robert Cain at Sea-90 continues his legacy.
Thx, i will look it up!
I must add: when i make compost, the goal is not to provide the plants all they need. The goal is to do something valueable with the waste products on my small scale farm. Capture those nutrients and reuse them.
Looks great Tim!
Awesome improvement! Fellow lean marketer here. I don't know anything about your business, but something else I might try - adding a sign with your USP at the top so people can see that too.
@@all-en That's the plan!
Great video Tim! Amazing job!
@@trentkoehn389 thx Trent!
I know some people use a small sand bag.
Sand bags are better for big tarps. In the marketgarden i prefer these metal pins. Light weight, easy to handle
Simple is always best ......... making one this week. Thanks
Keeping it simple is the hardest thing to do.
Freaking brilliant!! Well done Tim 👏🏻
