I’d like to see this done in a German schmear technique with reddish brick background. This is what I’m going for. Do you have any issues with nicking of the “brick” or chipping?

Why not mix the different colors of paint separately with some of the compound? Save yourself a step.

Well done! I'm looking to do a similar finish on my range hood. One question -- when you showed the finished sample, it looked like it had a natural luster, kinda like metal would have, but when you showed your actual range hood, the finish looked much more matte, and while it looked good, it didn't really look like metal to me. is there anything you'd recommend in terms of adjusting the finishing process to give it a more metallic look? thanks and all the best

Have you used this technique over a white orange peel finished wall? Also is it easy to paint over 10 years from now?

You should never install tile onto raw dimensional lumber. !/8" in Wedi should have been installed over it first. Also, pre-mixed mortar/mastic is not the best, you should use a quality thinnest...

I love IOD but their clay is not very good. Its cracks too much. DAS clay is much better and more affordable. I even force dry it in my dehydrator and have minimal to no cracking.

I liked the white bricks stage and wonder how I would texture with with other colours and keep them white. Maybe different white hues? I have saved this. Brilliant techniques.

Thank you! I started by removing dust and debris with an old paintbrush. Are used a product from Faux Effects called AquaCreme and I tinted it with their black tint color. www.fauxfx.com/C-Glazes.html

So what kind of glaze did you use for this and how did you prep the bricks please? Also, what is the painting process? Did you use a brush or a sponge? I'm very curious ! I absolutely love this!

I had gallery glass and loved the paints easy to use and I still have a piece of glass from 2000 and it still on that glass as if it was superglued on it’s awesome

Dear Lisa, I hope you feel now much better. Be happy with who you are and what you look like. You are a beautiful woman, in the coming years your body will change because you are going through menopause. The advantage for me was that it gave me bigger breasts (I'm almost 62). Think about yourself. Feel good about yourself and be proud of yourself..

Oh Lisa, what hell you have lived in. (and probably many people with breast implants) Ladies, don't put anything in your body that shouldn't be there naturally, so no implants, no fillers or that kind of junk. It is a revenue model for doctors and manufacturers. Be satisfied with who you are. Look in the mirror in the morning and tell yourself that you can be there. To everyone going through this, strength and recovery ❤
