For any body wanting to try it that just has a flashing backlight. I would be carefull. I just tried this, worked for like 1h, than i went into a store for like half an hour, when i came back and truned on the bike i had a big black spot on the dash...

This helped for me 2 years ago now its broken again cant fix it 😢

These units are such bollocks. My second one has just died due to moisture in the unit

I have the same issue with my yamaha xsr900 Display. Maybe I can use this trick for my display as well.

Omg. Thank you so much. I had this problem since Nov. 2020. I drove with my phone as a GPS speedometer since then. Always hat to guess my fuel capacity and mileage. I sent it in few years ago to a repair shop that wanted 320€ because it has a "broken processor". Gladly I declined. Thank you so much, again. You are a hero ♥️

Hab das selbe issue bei meiner mt125 aber da scheint das flachkabel gerissen zu sein. Gibts ne Möglichkeit sowas irgendwie zu reparieren? Einzelne Displays findet man nicht wirklich

Heutzutage müsste der Bau dieser genialer Cockpit um einiges günstiger sein. Ich erinnere, Hauptgrund für scheitern waren die Kosten.

Nice design dude. Silly question but does this act slightly as a wind break/shield? I really don't like the look of windshields on the MT07's but this actually looks really good. Also do you ship internationally?

Thanks! It helped me for 18 months. Now is totally dead, no matter of pressure applied. Maybe a larger hammer will help. Now I have another dilemma: how to replicate ECU's odometer into display's memory?

I actually have this exact problem with MT-09 speedometer, the fix worked as well :)

Do you happen to know how to fix the backlight issue? My cluster reads fine but the backlight intermittently quits so it makes the cluster dark.

UPDATE: OMG THIS F***ING WORKED!!! Please give me an email or PO Box so I can send you some gift cards or something as a thank you. You've saved me hundreds of dollars, it's the least I can do! I'm having the same issue with my MT-07 display. I'll try this tomorrow! Hope it works.

have an issue with "ERR" comig up where the clock suppoesd to be. you havent seen this before and maybe a fix for it??
