Hi, on this channel I would like to share my adventures and projects related to:
- Old obsolete computer stuff. Mainly everything that runs UNIX, but I will not limit myself to this area.
- Applied electronics: designing and building devices solving particular problems/needs which I face in everyday life.
I would like to examine / understand / fix / repurpose / and sometimes just do a simple soldering TV.
I’m not an electronic engineer. Sometimes I may get some things wrong.
I’m doing these videos entirely on a budget, so quality of sound/picture may vary.

you need to have the correct card.device in the tool types. The original one is device=scsi.device but there are several others including gvpscsi.device or omniscsi.device to list just 2. With the card you should have been told what the name of the device is. to change it you right click on the HD Toolbox icon and select information to open the panel where you can change to the proper tool icon
Thanks, i have read about the tool types, and i tried some suggested device names, but never got it to work with an SD card that i've had. What is strange, it worked right away with default scsi.device with an old ATA hard disk. My friend told me later, that he got an SD card advertised as "Amiga ready" for this machine, and it was also detected right away, without any additional settings...
@@wojtekmitus yes, sadly some do and some don't. Sandisk are usually reliable. Good to see that it worked with a regular hard drive. Thanks for the video
Jakiś mały ATtiny by to ogarnął. Dzięki temu zaraz byłoby widać która karta robi problemy a system dalej by wystartował (z drobnym opóźnieniem).
Można by zrobić takiego moda, na przykład wpinając jakiś mikrokontroler in-line we wszystkie linie CFGOUT.
No faktycznie...
If you want to sell the ide card (cheap) or the bridgebord we can surely find out something
Hi, thanks for the offer. The owner isn't currently interested in selling any of the cards. I'm currently working on failed cards, and i think i will be able to fix both of them (this will be in the next video).
@@wojtekmitus My bad...... I thought it was your own amiga
