My Top 5 Underrated 1. Claudio Castagnoli Claudio's strength and technical skills make him a fan favorite, but he never quite reaches the top level despite consistently putting on excellent matches. His move to AEW allowed him to continue proving why he was one of the most underappreciated wrestlers of his time. 2. Shelton Benjamin Well known for his exceptional athletic ability, Shelton consistently put on exciting performances, yet never ascended to the main event scene. His work in WWE showed his versatility, but he remains one of the most underused talents in the last 20 years or so. 3. Chad Gable Gable’s Olympic-level wrestling background and technical prowess make him one of WWE’s best performers. He has shown he can deliver both in comedic roles and serious high-stakes matches, but his booking has kept him from reaching the top-tier status I think he deserves. 4. Andrade El Idolo Andrade has all the makings of a top star, with charisma, in-ring skills, and a solid history of standout matches in NXT and AAA. However, both in WWE and AEW, his booking was not and has not fully capitalized on his potential, leaving him underrated in my eyes, and I see him as capable of main-event status. 5. Ricochet Ricochet is one of the most exciting and acrobatic wrestlers of his generation. Despite his immense in-ring talent, he has yet to receive the consistent push that would elevate him to the top, often being relegated to the mid-card despite his awesome performances. There are so many others that could have made this but I tried to keep it within the 2000's :P

My actual top 5 overrated 1. Roman Reigns Roman has dominated the WWE for the past few years, with his "Tribal Chief" persona making a massive impact, he’s overly pushed and protected. I am not a fan of his move set and his Superman punch is worse than Hogan's leg drop. Despite improvements in his character, his long title reign went stale and he was booked too strong. 2. Cody Rhodes His push is too forced and he doesn't quite deliver for me at the top-tier level as those before him who held the same title and what his current positioning suggests. 3. The Young Bucks The Young Bucks are pioneers of modern tag team indy wrestling, but their high-flying, spot-heavy style makes it less believable. Part of what makes wrestling fun to watch is the illusion of it being a real conflict. You would not watch a magician if you could see all his sleight of hand and he did not even try to deceive you. They rely too much on acrobatics and less on storytelling or selling, which leads to less impact for the viewer they are more style over substance. 4. CM Punk His in-ring performances didn’t quite live up to his legend, and the drama surrounding him has overshadowed his contributions. While beloved, I find him overrated and I have been watching him since ROH. 5. Edge Edge’s return from retirement was an emotional moment, but his character work and matches haven't lived up to the hype over time. His feuds, especially with Judgment Day and others, didn't connect with me and I expected more. I have watched Edge since he was in the og ECW. He was a legend there and throughout his tag team with Christian and even though it was a great run it was not what he did the majority of his career. He has never come close to those quality matches and has wrestled his new singles style for longer than the period he was great. He should have left while on top not with a broken leg and because of this I see him as overrated. You guys went through other top 5's but I would have to give it more thought on the others. This Top 5 is subject to change if I could think of more wrestlers and why they would be overrated. Cheers!
