Yes sounded great live that’s called talent
Сумашедшее не было...
Yeah, react to other live aid concerts, Madonna's set was good, also, and the Pretenders and Phil Collins
You mist so much, please go back watch the 20 minute set, no it took place in England to raise money for the starvation in Africa
Freddie had a bad throat and was told by a doctor not to perform. He apparently said it was lke gargling with broken glass. However Queen did and they smashed it. Each act had 20 minutes and if they went over they were cut off. Queen finished exactly on time.
You should watch their entire live aid concert
Metallica in USSR is one of the coolest things ive ever seen on TV. Ive read stories of people feeling levitation because of the energy.
Please react to my fav album ‘Low’ (1977) and my mum’s fav is ‘the man about sold the world’ perfect albums in my opinion
I wonder if he came up with Ziggy from Iggy, he was good friends with Iggy pop and wrote songs with him
The song ‘Lady stardust’ I think is about Marc bolan, often known as the originator of glam rock
Dig 🔥🔥
It's %100 real
It's amazing how the crowd immerses into the moment when they aren't holding mobile phones. Those handclaps wouldn't be possible with a phone in hand
The celebration of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Communism and the CCCP
Check out Panteras set. Same Concert
They are russian soldiers
Hell of a party. The iron curtain just came down
When Metallica played in Mobile, sort'a well-known by then, me and the band I was in went to the concert, and Lars was running around in the parking lot and shoving pieces of paper with his autograph on them in people's hands, ran up to our lead player and screamed something, shoved one in his shirt pocket...and Greg punched him in the eye, not knowing who he was. When they came on, and we saw Lars get behind the drums, Greg pulled out the paper...I KNOW he still has it! 😆
Now back in the 90s the US was not like it is today, all the guard rails that everybody has up nowadays I didn’t grow up with that. And in 1991 they were celebrating the fall of communism, the iron curtain, the Berlin wall.
VOLUME SO LOW !! So sad !
THE CONCERT WAS IN LONDON AT WEMBLEY STADIUM NOT AFRICA..THEY WERE SINGING TO RISE MONEY AND AWARENESS TO THE FAMINE TAKING PLACE IN AFRICA..THE CONSERTS WERE SPLIT INTO 3..ONE IN GERMANY..ONE IN LONDON AND ONE IN THE U.S.A..
Pity you didn't see all the other songs he had on Live Aid - just brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!
Definitely continue on the Bowie train! Try Station to Station, Aladdin Sane, and Diamond Dogs, they’ll point you in the right direction!
it may seem like the whole 22 minute performance is long to watch, but truly it is a totally amazing experience
Who watches only one song...really? Go watch the whole thing, including the extra 'is this the world we created' song from the end of the day.
So glad when you comment you let the music ride on.. koolness
This has to have been one of the epic nightmares for the sound techs. Blending this into intelligible music across those distances must be insanely difficult.
Dude there’s 200 songs and 16 albums. Dive into the Queen rabbit hole and you will be blown away. They have such eclectic music. This was for an African famine. It took place in Wembley Stadium in the UK and other performers performed in Philly in the USA. Over 1/4 of the world watched on tv and about 72,000 in the stadium. Queen brought the energy. Each performer was only allowed 20 minutes to play. Queen managed to include many hits and shortened versions of their songs. They were the best performers of the day. Forget the movie as it’s entertaining but inaccurate. Dive in!
If not doing the whole show, then I won't bother
The concert was live aid
Maybe learn how to do a proper reaction instead of talking (with inaccuracies) over the performance
You're 100% correct I stopped going to concerts when people started Holding up their cell phones during the whole damn thing
GOAT
Your comment about lack of cell phones got you a sub
Back in the olden days, one needed to have talent
Moscow wants to intimidate. Didn't work! The heli was not there for protection.
lol sad boy... gifting aint no path budy
Disappointing. You should have done the whole show.
Woodstock was bigger,
Slatan?
You really need to do the whole 20 minute set...it's amazing and it's why it's called the most iconic live set in rock history.
This ⬆️
It was a biopic, not a documentary. Freddie was diagnosed with HIV in 1987 so, no, he didn't reveal his illness to his bandmates on the brink of Live Aid. The movie has many inaccuracies, warped timelines and fabrications so don't use it as a reference of Queen facts. Live Aid was a benefit concert to raise money for famine relief in Ethiopia. There were two stages, London & Philadelphia, with around 60 performances broadcast simultaneously to $1.5 Billion television viewers. Each performer was allotted 20 minutes for their set. It is widely acknowledged that Queen stole the show. Watch the entire set, you would probably enjoy it!
That movie was a travesty….the saddest thing of all was Brian and Roger signing off on that…some friends?…….Freddie when he was alive never trash talked his band mates…..and they were quite happy to do that after Freddie died
@@josephinemonahan915 Agree. By all accounts, Freddie was generous and kind. Nobody’s perfect so, of course, there were instances of discourse. The movie paints him as a difficult diva that didn’t appreciate his bandmates, Brian & Rog pay tribute to Freddie. at the Queen+ shows but signing off on the biopic is questionable.
@@ellet6560 they didnt only sign off on it .they are the ones who told the story that way knowing it to be false . its a big pile of steaming dog poo
Research FM a little more
The soundtrack album of my high school years. Always driving in cars, high, listening to this. Don't try this at home kids, but . . . young people today missed out on those pure times.
Amazing es que no te callas en todo el video y hablas arriba!!!! 😒🤯
😂
❤❤❤❤
He always larked about on stage. He could be funny but he wouldnt get away with nowadays.
it was real mate they were the first to go to Russia!
Enter Sandman is (arguably) the #1 heavy metal song. Metallica is still touring BTW
It is not weird at all to contemplate getting out of a crowd like that.
Imagine that you are in the middle and you need to pee or have a diarrhea
