There will always be issues. Even if you switch back to 8/1 or ever 9/1 for school year, not every state using the same date. So you can still have a month of trapped players and a month of registration headaches for FIFA.

Thank you so much for all of your hard work. I've been a massive soccer fan for awhile now, and it means a lot to me that there will soon be a real local club for me to support. When I look at the soccer leagues abroad, I am enchanted by the community nature of the European and South American games. The chance of having a sports team that is reflective of my community is something that I, and many of my friends, would love to have. I dream that Arkansas will have a real presence in the game, and that eventually America will be on the level of the likes of Brazil, Argentina, England, and Spain. Ideally I would like to see promotion and relegation, but a team to represent not just Rogers but all of NWA is all I need.

MLSNEXT PRO would probably be your closest example to minor league. And it is for MLS. MLS is trying to be Super League for America. Well they are. Trying to keep it that way 🙄

Or something to that extent. I really like it being simple like Tulsa went to for easy identification. Nicknames in soccer are kinda weird if not executed well. Going to be fun getting all of that worked out!!!

Don’t forget about Ft Smith! SE Oklahoma and the River Valley has a soccer culture completely untapped. I think you’d find success tapping into our area as well!

Love this. Grew up in Poteau and didn’t even watch pro club soccer til I was out of high school. Tried Dallas and KC and landed with SKC. Before Covid I’d drive up at least once a season. Having pro soccer an hour up the road is AWESOME! Plan on supporting the team from the jump. Feels like more of a home to me than FC Tulsa.
