Beautiful. When I watched Inspector Morse, I was young, without a care, in my home from the Far East. Then years later when Endeavour aired, I was in London, for a degree, alone, with a cup in my hand. Every bit of young Endeavour captures the enternal loneliness we all must face.

Morse as portrayed by Evans, then Thaw, who evolves him into a grumpy, mean spirited, unappreciative, inverted snob who resents anyone with money and position. How do people find Morse senior to be beloved? I still enjoy the series but not Morse senior.
