Encouraging progress and it's good to hear so much explicit reference to the patient and how their experience is improving. The questions and discussion around making relatively simple changes (2 months to get Kanban cards printed, to move a cupboard) really illustrates the importance of active sponsor participation AND the potential benefit of the KPO taking some actions to support the improvements. "It's not our responsibility" came over as a typical example of some of the barriers to change - if something needs doing and it is within your capabiity to do ti, then JFDI. I inevitably wonder how much of the learning here is transferable to other outpatient clinics?
