I have a simple little homemade file server. Now the thing is this has been in operation for over 4 years, in a old case. Its an old case, a Coolermaster HAF X, and its heavy case (14.35 kg / 31.6 lbs). Its 13 years old, and it needed a some minor updates. Seeing CD drives no longer are installed or really needed (if I need a DVD writer cd writer I have a USB one!) so I did some weight saving, I removed the enter CD area! Instead I installed a fan there, and I got a small 2.5" HDD which I have installed as well. Why not buy a new case, well its simple its a good case, on wheels, and sturdy, and why throw something away, just because its old.
I don't know what I am doing a lot of the time, and I am learning, so I am showing, how my mind works, and taking you along for the ride, whilst I learn how to use the tools I have. Not just about 3D printing, but video editing, camera work as well.
All the software that I have used is all free.
